As surprising of a reveal as it is, Andie doesn't change much on the show. She doesn't even murder anyone! Like, if you're going to come on Jane and disrupt things, you better go all-in.
After Jane learns that she is still married to Michael, she decides to get divorced from him so she can move on with Rafael. Luisa visits Rose in jail learning the reason she faked Michael's death and gave him amnesia. Rogelio has a hard time leaving Xo alone while he is filming the American version of his telenovela.
As constant touring took its toll on the band, Hartman and Volz began to disagree about Petra's future, both on stage and off. The tour, while it drew more fans than ever, was expensive, and it left Petra hurting financially.
At the end of the second season of Jane the Virgin, Anezka did a twin switch with Petra, leaving her sister in a comatose-like state while she took over her life.
Rafael is Petra's husband, the sperm donor, and now the father of Jane's unborn child. The premise makes for an entertaining show overall, but the way in which Petra's infertility is addressed is problematic.
They Fall In Love Again. Rafael gets his own studio apartment just as they decide to give their relationship another try (which involved a fair bit of waffling and keeping it a secret). But for the first time since Season 1, Jane and Rafael are finally a couple again — and they finally have sex with one another.
That's going to take her on a real journey and obviously, there's big history there. At the top of next season, Rafael's lost all his money. He doesn't have anything. His credit cards don't work.
Rodriguez's directorial debut was the tenth episode of the season, "Chapter Seventy-Four", which aired on February 9, 2018. The episode was specially selected by showrunner Jennie Snyder-Urman as it featured the characters of Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) having sex for the first time.

When Jane finds out Michael knew Petra was cheating on Rafael and didn't tell her, even though he knew she thought Petra and Rafael's marriage was rock-solid and perfect, leaving her relieved that her baby would be in a very good family, she breaks the engagement off.
After a long labor with no medication, as she has a blood deficiency, Petra gives birth to the twins with Jane as her birthing partner. Jane holds Elsa after the birth, and Petra tells her that she and Rafael have decided to name them Elsa and Anna respectively.
In season five, Jane and Rafael get married. Yael Grobglas as Petra Solano (née Anděl, later Dvořáček), born as Natalia, is Rafael's scheming and cheating wife.
