Personality. Yamato is a kind & sweet girl who seems to have strange taste in men, as she immediately fell in love with Takeo Gouda (both his personality and his appearance). She's kind and she doesn't feel right if someone does something for her, but she isn't allowed to return the favor.
Last week was a perfect example of this, and we got more shades of this here with just what Yamato was hiding from Takeo. Takeo thinks Yamato is a "pure heart" who is scared of any sort of affection from him. Nothing could be further from the truth: she's angling for him to kiss her.
Eventually, after Takeo breaks up with Yamato because he thinks he's hurting her with their Long-Distance Relationship, Suna follows through with his promise.
After witnessing that Takeo has found his true happiness, Makoto was happy for him as his best friend. In the end, Makoto departs with Takeo and Rinko after his high school graduation ceremony, moving together towards their college life.
After observing her for a while, Sunakawa began to realize that she had romantic feelings for Takeo. He told Yamato after school that they were meeting at the chicken coop, encouraging her to run after them.
Yukika Amami (天海悠紀華, Amami Yukika) is a childhood friend of Takeo Gouda and Makoto Sunakawa who is mostly known because of her genuine crush for Sunakawa, which he wasn't aware of in the past.
Rikona Otaki (Japanese: 大瀧 璃來那 - Otaki Rikona) was previously a second year in Inarizaki High school and had a role as the volleyball team's manager. She's wing spiker in JNWVT. As of 2018 she's married to Rintarō Suna and has changed her name to Rikona Suna (Japanese: 角名 璃來那 - Suna Rikona).
The next day, Makoto and Sekai have an argument about who the father is that ends with Makoto leaving her. He then gets back together with Kotonoha, who promises that she'll never betray him and that she wants to have his baby. They go to Kotonoha's house and Makoto presumably impregnates her.
Following this, he followed her from Nagoya to meet Takeo since he wanted to know what kind of man Ai had fallen in love with. He later attempted to get Ai and Takeo alone together during their outing at MM land so Ai could confess to Takeo. In the end, she refused and told him she'd never confess.
Yamato Takeru went to the eastern land. He lost his wife Oto tachibana-hime during a storm when she sacrificed herself to soothe the anger of the sea god.
In Volume 11 Chapter 72, Yamato and Mei eventually got married (which now makes her Mei Kurosawa) and she gives birth to a baby boy named Ken Kurosawa.
Yamato revealed that Takeo Gouda is her first love and her first boyfriend. If anyone were to fall in love with Takeo (and possibly pursue him), Yamato is determined to fight for him.
After his death, Yamato chose to become just like Oden, impersonating him and adopting his mannerisms. As a result of this desire to emulate Oden, Yamato decided to become a man and identify as Kaidou's son, and Kaidou and his crew refer to him as such as well.
Yamato is a trans man and uses “he/him” pronouns. The answers came to us via a fateful trip to the onsen, or hot springs. The castle in the Flower Capital doesn't have mixed baths, so the characters had to separate themselves by gender.
Yamato doesn't have a traditional male body, that much is true. Regardless, he still identifies himself as a man, because that is what he corresponds with. Yamato wants to be male because Kozuki Oden was male.
When Mio return to the room and found them together she and Tomoe proceeded to get into a fight. Both of them let everyone in the plane know that they finally had sex with Makoto.
Makoto is a gender-neutral name of Japanese origin that is more commonly used for boys. Meaning “good” or “sincerity” this name is a wonderful way to teach baby the importance of an honest heart.
Freddy was first mentioned by name in episode 35, Ice Princess. In the original Japanese anime, Lita's (Makoto's) ex-boyfriend was always just a crush referred to as "Senpai" (先輩), which is the Japanese word used to refer to a "senior student".
Just like Byakuya and Yasuhiro, Makoto has a son with Aoi in the Bad Ending of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.
Miraculously, after the death of Tachibana, Makoto's vision begins to return, allowing her to see just enough to move around on her own.
In turn, Junko thinks out of all the students in Class 78th, Makoto seems to be the most annoying and odd person in her class. They developed a great hatred for each other during the Mutual Killing Game. In the end with the help of his friends, he had Junko Enoshima executed.
Some time in the future, Ryūnosuke and Kiyoko both get married. Kiyoko works as a sports shop assistant, while Ryūnosuke is a sports instructor. The couple attends the game between the Black Jackals and the Schweiden Adlers to support their friends.
Kiyoko goes on to marry Tanaka sometime in the future after high school, which is revealed in the Final Arc when they went to see the Schweiden Adlers vs. Black Jackals game together.
Reiko Suna (Japanese: 角名 令子 - Suna Reiko) is daughter and second child of Rintarō Suna and Rikona Otaki as well as younger sister of Rentarō Suna.
