Well, a man in West Bengal claims to have bought one-acre land on the red planet and he also has a 'deed' showing the purchase. Shaunak Das states that he has purchased land on Mars from an American website. He also claims that he has purchased a one-acre area of land on Mars.
It is worth mentioning that Shaunak is a Bengali who gifted his wife 'one acre' of land on Mars on his first wedding anniversary. He bought the land last year from a private company in the United States.
And while I'm no Martian real estate expert, it certainly seems like a buyer's market: Land on Mars starts at just $29.99 per acre. And yes, in case you were wondering, that price includes your official “Mars Documents” complete with “Futuristic Packaging.”
For only $160 billion, you can buy ... Mars!
Article II of the Outer Space Treaty states, “Outer space, including the moon and other celestial bodies, is not subject to national appropriation by claim of sovereignty, by means of use or occupation, or by any other means.” In short, nobody can claim ownership of Mars or land on Mars, or do so with any other ...
A large chunk of Martian rock, worth an estimated $30,000 to $50,000, holds bubbles of the planet's atmosphere trapped inside.
Mars is a planet with a very similar daily cycle to the Earth. Its 'sidereal' day is 24 hours, 37 minutes and 22 seconds, and its solar day 24 hours, 39 minutes and 35 seconds. A Martian day (referred to as “sol”) is therefore approximately 40 minutes longer than a day on Earth.
Proposals for human missions to Mars have come from e.g. NASA, European Space Agency, Boeing, and SpaceX. As of 2023, only robotic landers and rovers have been on Mars. The farthest humans have been beyond Earth is the Moon, under the Apollo program.
Magnesium, Aluminium, Titanium, Iron, and Chromium are relatively common in them. In addition, lithium, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, niobium, molybdenum, lanthanum, europium, tungsten, and gold have been found in trace amounts.
The first to contact the surface were two Soviet probes: Mars 2 lander on November 27 and Mars 3 lander on December 2, 1971—Mars 2 failed during descent and Mars 3 about twenty seconds after the first Martian soft landing.
Having searched through the available evidence, Daily Trust can confirm that the posts and reports claiming that Elon Musk will soon open a hotel in Mars for 5 million dollars per night is false and misleading. So far, no proof exists of life on the red planet, popularly known as Mars.
Why does Elon Musk want to build a city on Mars? Musk's stated aim is to transform humanity into a multi-planet species. Over the years, he has listed reasons as to why humanity would want to expand into the universe.

In the past, Mr Musk has estimated that a ticket to Mars on a SpaceX flight would cost between $100,000 and $500,00.
In 2011, Elon Musk said he would put a man on Mars in the next 10 years. A decade later, the internet wants to know what happened to his promise. Elon Musk, counted among the world's richest men today, has long said he wants to make humanity a “multiplanetary species” by establishing a colony on Mars.
The time dilation on that planet—one hour equals 7 Earth years—seems extreme. To get that, you'd apparently need to be at the event horizon of a black hole. Yes. You can calculate where you must be to have that level of time dilation, and it's extreme.
Previous studies based on these rocks had suggested that Mars had largely formed two to four million years after the start of the Solar System. (Earth, by comparison, formed after about 60 million years.)
Temperatures on Mars average about -81 degrees F. However, temperatures range from around -220 degrees F. in the wintertime at the poles, to +70 degrees F. over the lower latitudes in the summer.
' It was already known that Venus has the longest day — the time the planet takes for a single rotation on its axis — of any planet in our solar system, though there were discrepancies among previous estimates. The study found that a single Venusian rotation takes 243.0226 Earth days.
This is roughly 1.88 times the length of a year on Earth, so to calculate your age on Mars we simply have to divide your Earth age by 1.88.
Overall, Mars is cold—its average global temperature is around -80 degrees Fahrenheit—and has a much thinner atmosphere than Earth. Because it has about a sixth of the pressure of Earth's atmosphere, the planet doesn't retain heat very long, causing temperatures to drop quickly.
At just 0.376 of the Earth standard (or 0.376 g), a person who weighs 100 kg on Earth would weigh only 38 kg on Mars. This difference in surface gravity is due to a number of factors – mass, density, and radius being the foremost.
Mars Inc. had revenue of more than $40 billion in 2021, according to a January 2022 Moody's credit opinion report. It's valued using the average enterprise value-to-sales and enterprise value-to-Ebitda multiples of three publicly traded peer companies: Hershey, Nestle and Mondelez International.
As of April 2020, the combined private fortune of the family members was estimated at around $126 billion, making them one of the richest families in the world.
