Following the successful destruction of the One Ring and the fall of Sauron, the power of the rings faded. While the Nine were destroyed, the Three were rendered powerless; their bearers left Middle-earth for Valinor at the end of the Third Age, inaugurating the Dominion of Men.
The Keepers of the Three Rings, or Three Keepers, included Gandalf, Galadriel, Elrond (and formerly Círdan and Gil-galad). They were the bearers of the three Elvish Rings of Power.
At that time, Círdan would abandon the Grey Havens and finally travel the Straight Road himself. On some unknown date, he sailed west aboard the Last Ship with his mighty kinsman Celeborn, but when he did so, he took with him the last living memory of the Elder Days in Middle-earth.
The Three Rings of the Elves were forged by Celebrimbor alone, and were never touched by Sauron. They were made last, however, and their forging involved some of the arts taught by "Annatar".
The Keepers of the Three Rings were those who held the Three Rings of the Elves after their making, through more than 4,000 years of the Second and Third Ages. Originally the three Keepers were Gil-galad, Galadriel, and Círdan. Gil-galad gave his Ring to Elrond and Círdan gave his to Gandalf.
The Rings, in this case, would have lost their powers eventually due to the lack of the One Ring and possibly because they were designed to defeat evil, and evil, in the form of Sauron, had been defeated. The Three Elven Rings served their purpose for a long time. Two out of three of them had several different bearers.
Elrond Half-elven is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium. Both of his parents, Eärendil and Elwing, were half-elven, having both Men and Elves as ancestors.
Narrative. Arwen was the youngest child of Elrond, lord of the Elvish sanctuary of Rivendell and leader of the High Elves remaining in Middle-earth at the end of the Third Age, and Celebrían, daughter of Galadriel, ruler of the Elvish forest realm of Lothlórien. Her elder brothers were the twins Elladan and Elrohir.
Galadriel. One of the elves who lived in Middle Earth the longest was The Lady of Lothlorien, who arrived in the First Age and left in the Fourth. Galadriel's enigmatic abilities were tremendous, having learned magic from Valar and Maiar. All Middle Earth's races feared her, including men, dwarves, and Sauron's army.
In The Lord of the Rings, it is said that had Galadriel chosen to use her powers for evil instead of good, she would have been even more destructive and terrifying than Sauron himself. Galadriel was the greatest and most powerful of all Elves in Middle Earth in the Third Age.
Galadriel has very strong magical powers, and she is said to be the greatest of the Ñoldor after Fëanor. The majority of her powers come from her Ring of Power, Nenya, the Ring of Water.
Sauron (Sala Baker) directly made only one of the 20 rings, the famed "one ring to rule them all," although he assisted in the creation of the nine rings for mortal men and the seven rings for the dwarves.
Galadriel's brother FinrodOpens in new tab was the first major character to die on The Rings of Power. Finrod was a wise elf who offered a child Galadriel some sound, albeit intense, advice. But everything about their lives changed when Finrod was called to fight in the War of Wrath against Morgoth.
While the previous 19 rings were crafted with the help of the Elves, the final ring, the 'One Ring to rule them all,' was crafted by Sauron alone; with the ability to dominate the other rings, the One Ring was made with some of Sauron's own power, in order to make it more powerful.
The First Age ends with the defeat of Morgoth. Afterward, according to Tolkien's writings, Galadriel remains in Middle-earth with Celeborn. (The Rings of Power is tweaking canon by making Celeborn missing in action.)
Legolas does not marry or have any children, based on the appendix of The Lord of the Rings. Regardless of who his mother was, Legolas is the last of his line. When he sails into the West at the beginning of the Fourth Age, he leaves no family members behind.
Legolas is a baby compared to Gandalf. Gandalf is an Ainu, a race that is older than time and space itself.
It is later mentioned that Tauriel is a talented warrior and was therefore made leader of the Mirkwood border guards. Legolas, the son of Mirkwood's Elven king Thranduil, is indicated to be attracted to her, but as she is a lowly Silvan Elf, she does not believe herself worthy of him.
Rockseer Elves or Deep Elves
"Rockseer elves are the rarest of all elvenkind. They are far taller than most of their kin, with a few reaching almost to eight feet in height. An average weight for a Rockseer is between 120 and 140 pounds, with little gender difference.
She already feels an outcast after Gil-galad tried to send her back to the Undying Lands, and she fears that if she reveals what she has done, it will be the final nail in the coffin. Instead, when Elrond pulls her from the river Glanduin, and she races back inside to Celebrimbor's forge, she chooses to stay silent.
Technically, Arwen is Aragorn's aunt, but it's not as weird as it sounds (at least within the context of Middle Earth). The romance and marriage of Arwen and Aragorn are unique in a variety of ways.
Why Galadirel Had To Say No To The Ring. Galadriel desired her own kingdom to rule but was not willing to submit to the darkness to obtain it. Her decision meant that she would have to commit to a much more humble lifestyle but she accepted it in order to contribute to the greater good of Middle Earth.
Though someone could start out with good intentions, the Ring would eventually corrupt them. And that is why Gandalf can't touch it. He is afraid that if he did, it would corrupt him and make him just as bad as Sauron since Sauron put so much of himself and his evil into the One Ring.
In the epic and fantastical world of The Lord of the Rings created by J.R.R. Tolkien exist many magical artifacts. However, very little is known about the three Elven Rings. The three Rings, unlike the remaining sixteen Rings of Power, as well as the One Ring, are not dark objects tainted by evil.
