Douma said that he had never felt emotions before, but his heart felt like it was beating now. He started doubting his belief that heaven and hell didn't exist and started blushing at Shinobu, quickly developing a crush on her.
However, after his death, he accepted that he is wrong and that Heaven and Hell actually do exist. Doma also displayed what arguably is his first true emotion, love, when he proclaimed his love for Shinobu after finding her cute.
Despite her animosity for him, however, Doma would slowly develop an admiration for Shinobu as she struggles fighting despite her small stature and inability to poison him fatally.
Fifteen years before the story started, Doma met a woman named Kotoha Hashibira, and left her family with her baby son Inosuke after being fed up with the abuse of her husband and mother-in-law. Doma invited Kotoha into the Eternal Paradise cult for sanctuary.
Despite any ambiguity about Akaza's feelings towards Kokushibo, his statement that he would kill him, even if it meant sacrificing his own life, indicates a strong level of hatred towards his fellow Upper Rank. As for Douma, we have seen the hatred that Akaza has for Douma.
Doma is always smiling and acts very friendly, but this cheerful, caring nature is simply a facade. He states that he cares for his fellow Upper Moons and even cries when he learns that Akaza died, though, in fact, he doesn't feel anything for them. Even when he was human, Doma didn't feel any type of human emotion.
Inosuke's Father Was Abusive
Doma tells Inosuke that his mother was singing a lot, particularly a lullaby called “pinky promise.” It seemed as if mother and child were safe and happy at last; however, when Kotoha soon found out that Doma was a Demon and eating some of the worshippers, their happiness crashed.
He just thought she was kind of cute and probably tasty. A snacc if you will. She hated him and wanted to avenge her sister. There was no chance to develop a relationship or attachment between these characters.
Inside of Limbo, Doma, having heard and been touched by Shinobu's strong faith and belief in her comrades and fellow Demon Slayers' ability to defeat the demons and slay Muzan, seemingly begins to develop genuine feelings of romantic attraction towards Shinobu.
Apart from that, Muzan doesn't hate Akaza because of his obedience. The only Demon he despises the most is the Upper Rank Two: Doma.
Does Muzan have a favorite demon? Despite the fact that Muzan. is always shown to have disdain for his creations, Muzan does in fact have a favorite. On that list is Naki, made due to a convenient blood demon.
Despite losing his memories, Akaza was noted to have subconsciously retained his strong feelings for Koyuki, this is seen where Doma noted that Akaza absolutely refused to kill and eat women during his hundreds of years as a Demon, despite his obsessive desire for more strength and power.
Zenitsu crushing on Nezuko. Upon seeing her for the first time, Zenitsu falls in love with Nezuko at first sight. She apparently views Zenitsu as a "weird dandelion" and did not initially seem to reciprocate his feelings. Although the two are rarely seen interacting together, Zenitsu treats her with affection and care.
These people asked him to lead them to paradise, causing Doma to cry, since he never believed paradise, the gods and Buddha were real. To him, they were nothing more that a fantasy created by humanity and he bemoaned that people believed in something so fictitious to him.
Daki and Gyutaro
Muzan is shown to have a positive master-servant relationship with Daki, as the young Demoness seemingly worships and admires the Demon Progenitor immensely, fervently hanging on each and every one one of his words and doing her absolute best to accomplish the tasks he gives her.
4) Doma - 133 years
His demon abilities were quite troublesome as it manifested in the form of ice. Shinobu had to sacrifice her life in order to make him weak enough for him to be killed by Inosuke Hashibira and Kanao. He had lived for over 130 years and killed many humans and members of the Demon Slayer Corps.
well, Shinobu used to have normal facial expressions. one day, her older sister Kanye was killed by a demon. Hane once said that she love to see shinobu's smile. after that, she always fakes a smile.
Shinobu confessed her love to Guiyu. in episode 18 of Demon Slayer, Shinobu shows her liking to Guiyu. when both hashira's were sent on a mission.
Shinobu to Giyuu on Kimetsu no Yaiba Official Light Novel. GiyuShino is the het ship between Shinobu Kocho and Giyuu Tomioka from the Demon Slayer fandom.
Shinobu musters strength for one final attack, successfully stabbing Doma through his neck with a poison strike. Shinobu triumphantly relaxes as Doma seemingly begins to die from the poison. However, Doma almost instantly recovers and bear hugs the Hashira, absorbing Shinobu into himself and eventually killing her.
It's Doma. Just like Tanjirou, Giyuu, and Kokushibou, Douma is just the fan translation with emphasis on proper translation. Dōma is technically the proper name. Dōma is just to emphasize pronunciation.
He embraces her in a bear hug, and begins mocking her and calling her entire attempt to defeat him a waste of effort, assuring her she will live peacefully as a part of him, and mockingly asking her for her last words. She spitefully curses him as he begins to kill her.
She treasured Inosuke dearly and would always sing lullabies to him when he was a baby, promising to always protect him no matter what. When meeting Doma, she found a fond liking in him due to him helping her escape the abuse she was facing from her family.
After the final battle
At the end of the chapter, there is a picture of Inosuke giving acorns to Aoi while she smiles. It is confirmed in the Volume 23 extras that Inosuke and Aoi did eventually end up together and that they have two great-grandsons, one of which is Aoba.
She is unable to cut it because she got frozen, so Inosuke, on the spot, comes up with and uses Beast Breathing: Sudden Throwing Strike to hurl his blades at Kanao's to give it the extra strength needed to cut Doma's neck. They succeed in beheading him, and Upper Rank Two and his statue begin to disintegrate.
