Stan Edgar is Homelander's most powerful enemy who has never had superpowers. As the former CEO of Vought International, Edgar was unafraid to stand his ground and make the decisions that he thought were best for the company.
John, better known as The Homelander, is the main antagonist of the Amazon series The Boys, serving as the main antagonist of Season 1 and one of the two main antagonists of Seasons 2 and 3 (alongside Stormfront in the former and Soldier Boy in the latter).
Stormfront joined the Seven after Translucent's death became public, and was briefly a rival to Homelander before the two became lovers.
Big spoiler alert here for the comic; towards the end of The Boys comic run, after Homelander's attempted coup over the world, it's finally time for Homelander to get his comeuppance with a showdown between him and his arch-nemesis, Billy Butcher.
Although Homelander is one of the main antagonists of the comic series, he is not killed by his archenemy Billy, but is instead killed by Black Noir. His name literally means "A person from one's homeland".
The grand finale of The Boys comic book series confirms that there is only one hero who is actually stronger than Homelander, and that's his (even more) evil clone, Black Noir. Created to be an upgraded version of Homelander, Black Noir proves his superiority in the final battle between these two deranged powerhouses.
1 Homelander
There's little doubt that Homelander is the strongest character in the Boys. No matter how much is thrown at him, what kind of weapon they can conceive, or how many other superheroes get in his way, Homelander's power is unwavering.
In the "What I Know" arc, Butcher is revealed to have killed Soldier Boy with a public funeral being held for him and members of the Seven (including the Homelander) serving as his pallbearers.
This Seventh day of the Seventh month, we celebrate Black Noir, the most dependable member of The Seven. A fierce warrior, avant garde intellect, and skilled pianist. He's even Homelander's best friend.
Homelander's Real Weakness Is That He Craves Love & Adoration.
No. Homelander is more powerful, but Soldier Boy is nearly on par. Though maybe his radiation blasts are more powerful than Homelander.
Well, Homelander was created as an obvious copy of Superman, so their powers are virtually identical, except Superman is more powerful as you mentioned. The two differences are that Homelander has no apparent weakness to a specific substance, no “kryptonite”, and that he can't see through zinc instead of lead.
Yup, Soldier Boy is Homelander's biological father. Suddenly all these daddy issues make a lot more sense. This character element isn't from the original The Boys comics, but was something Kripke and the writer's room came up with for the show.
Despite much as Black Noir's role as one of the main antagonists of the comic series, he was completely silent until the end of the series, when he revealed himself as Homelander's clone and confesses to orchestrating the events which led to Homelander's downfall and eventual death.
1 Homelander
Simply put, Homelander is the most evil version of an evil Superman possible (at the moment). In fact, the show's Homelander has proven to be even more diabolical compared to his graphic novel counterpart. There's no depth Homelander wouldn't sink to if it meant that he got his way.
In both the comic and TV series, Noir is a member of the hedonistic and reckless Vought-American superhero group the Seven and is depicted as a "silent ninja" type parody of Batman, Snake Eyes and Deathstroke.
Noir, deep down, is a traumatized and scared little boy, feeling ashamed about his past with Soldier Boy due to the abuse he inflicted on Noir, to the point he chose to run and hide leaving behind Vought and Homelander.
But for the sake of underlining how much went down in the episode, here we go: Homelander (Antony Starr) kills Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell); the Deep (Chace Crawford) kills Robert Singer's (Jim Beaver) VP pick and the slot goes to secret supe Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit); Starlight/Annie (Erin Moriarty) flies with ...
Black Noir is the main antagonist of the highly controversial adult comic series The Boys. He is a clone of the Homelander that was created by the Nazis and Vought-American to keep an eye on Homelander to make sure that he did not go insane, and to kill him if he did.
However, Starlight does not die in the comics when the story finally comes to a close. She is fully prepared to die trying to defeat Homelander, but Queen Maeve actually saves her from his wrath. This results in Homelander killing Queen Maeve, and Black Noir later is the one responsible for killing The Seven's leader.
Knowing he will be locked away for life as an invalid, Butcher deceives Hughie into killing him by falsely claiming he had murdered Hughie's parents. Hughie, in a fit of rage, rams a metal spike into Butcher's chest, killing him. True to character, Billy dies smiling.
“God please bless me I've been patient.” Soulja also shared a photo of him with his hand on his girlfriend's pregnant belly during the gender reveal party. According to TMZ, the mother of Soulja's child, is celebrity hairstylist Jackie, whose clients include Nicki Minaj, Brandy, Kim Kardashian, and The Weeknd.
Starlight is the one member of The Seven who has genuinely good intentions and wants to help people. Unfortunately for her, she's not the most powerful member of the team, so she has to work with others to influence The Seven from the inside and stop her villainous co-members from committing evil.
Gumchum doesn't do anything else in the series besides off his fellow Supes gum. It's his sole purpose. He might be the worst hero in terms of powers and abilities in The Boys, as he's effectively useless in battle.
Former Powers. Superhuman Strength: One of Queen Maeve's primary abilities is tremendously enhanced superhuman strength, far greater than that of normal human beings. She was one of the most physically powerful Supes to have ever lived, only surpassed by Homelander.
