In this version, Pamela Isley was born with a skin condition: an aversion to sunlight. She learned how powerful flowers can be, observing her parent's relationship. Her father was an abusive and violent man who was buying his wife's forgiveness with flowers.

Bruce and Pamela had a brief but genuine romantic relationship after he helped to cure her of her condition, but this came to an end when Pamela seemingly died in an attempt to turn herself back into Poison Ivy.
