Matthew implies that this is the messiah, France notes that the traditional view was that Isaiah was referring to events immediately after the departure of the Assyrians.

“In the name of Jesus” is the key that unlocks the door of prayer and the treasury of God's grace. It's the weapon that defeats the enemy and the motivation that compels our sacrifice and service. It's the name that causes our hearts to rejoice and our lips to sing his praise.

If living for Christ feels impossible, you want to give up because you're not sure you can keep going, or you'd just rather give in. Don't. Don't give up. Because the same God, that by His grace brought you to life, is the same God that's not giving up on you.

The World English Bible translates the passage as: Being warned in a dream. that they shouldn't return. to Herod, they went back to. their own country another way.
