The Big Bad in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thanos, is actually an imitation of the Big Bad in the DC universe, Darkseid. The God of Evil, Darkseid, is a universal tyrant who wants to subjugate all reality, is searching for the anti-life equation, and is obsessed with death.
Darkseid has faced powerful cosmic beings before, but the unique blend of Punisher, Ghost Rider, and Silver Surfer could prove more than almost any comic book villain could handle.
As mentioned before, there were two heroes responsible for Darkseid's demise, and the other was none other than Green Arrow. While it was the Atom who destroyed Darkseid's brain, it was Oliver Queen's expert archery skills that allowed Ray to be shot into Darkseid's head to begin with.
because Thanos was literally made to be Marvels Darkseid. The connection between the two was only made when editor Roy Thomas told Starlin to give Thanos a more powerful build, suggesting "If you're going to steal one of the New Gods, at least rip off Darkseid, the really good one!"
9/10 LOSE: Darkseid
He has superhuman speed and strength, and once fought Zeus to a standstill. Thor would certainly be thwarted by Darkseid. This fearsome villain would be able to drain the lifeforce from him, and even his godly weaponry doesn't seem like it could withstand Darkseid's Omega Beams.
Unfortunately, before he could use it, Darkseid was defeated (nearly dying from his wounds) and forced to retreat by a combined army comprised of Humans, Amazons, and Atlanteans, along with the involvement of Ares, Zeus and Artemis of Old Gods and Yalan Gur, a member of the Green Lantern Corps.
On a one on one basis, Darkseid would be able to beat her into submission. If he uses the Omega Effect, she would fall to it. Darkseid is just too much for Captain Marvel, as good as she is.
Thanos / Darkseid
The duo actually seem made to contrast with one another. Thanos is fixated on death and uses the Infinity Gauntlet to spread it across the universe. Darkseid wants to control all life and searches for the fabled Anti-Life Equation to do so.
Phobia: Incredible as it may seem, Darkseid fears his father, Yuga Khan, more than anything else; Yuga Khan is the one being in the universe far more powerful and evil and was worse of a tyrant than even Darkseid.
Thanos reigns!
In the four decades since the pair debuted, Darkseid and Thanos have taken big swings at each other, the comics industry, and Hollywood. But in an MCU-saturated world, there's only one winner: Thanos.
1/10 WOULD LOSE TO: Darkseid
While the Hulk's immense strength gives him as good a chance as anyone against Darkseid, Darkseid's Omega Beams would be the deciding factor. The Hulk may survive a blast or two from them, but the more he's hit with them the more of a toll they'll take.
Mephisto. Mephisto is an extremely powerful demon who has been a reality-ending threat many times in Marvel. He is everything Superman gets overpowered by, all packed in one.
While Darkseid definitely has the hubris to go up against an entity who represents the embodiment of the universe, there's no way he would be able to triumph. Eternity's power is just too great for words and there's pretty much nothing Darkseid could do that would even phase him.
9/10 LOSE: Darkseid
Ghost Rider might be extremely powerful but going up against a villain of Darkseid's magnitude would spell trouble for him. Darkseid is as mighty as a god, and it seems that even with Ghost Rider's demon on his side, he wouldn't be an equal match.
7/10 Lose To: Scarlet Witch Can Warp The Reality Around Darkseid. Even before her television show revealed that she was the Scarlet Witch, Wanda had enough in her arsenal to at least make Darkseid take notice of her. With the power boost from the show, she's now on a level well above anyone else in the Avengers.
A full power Darkseid should stomp Hulk easily. Hulk has never been on Darkseid's level, hell he isn't even on the level of the weakest avatar of Darkseid.
Weakness. Radion: Darkseid and all of the New Gods are vulnerable to a substance called Radion. It source is unknown and its effects are toxic only in sustained amounts or after explosive exposure. The average New God can be slain by an application of Radion from a Radion blaster or bomb.
While Darkseid was fighting Zeus, Ares landed a powerful blow to Darkseid, breaking the latter's spear and wounding his shoulder.
Hyperion is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, of which there are several notable versions. Created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Sal Buscema, the original Hyperion made his debut in The Avengers #69 (October 1969).
There are two major heroes in the Marvel Universe to be considered the Batman type character: Tony Stark/Iron Man. Matthew Murdock/Daredevil.
10/10 CAN'T DEFEAT: Darkseid
In the Avenger's series, Iron Man needed help all along the way to even stand somewhat of a chance against Thanos. Iron Man vs. Darkseid in a one-on-one battle would be a landslide win for Darkseid.
Captain Marvel
A cosmic superhero who can take on anyone. Most of her competitors don't stand a chance against her but this won't be the case with DC's super powerful anti-hero. Black Adam is one of the few characters who has the capabilities of defeating Captain Marvel.
Captain America
Cap is one of the few mortals able to not only lift Mjolnir but wield its full power, making him someone who can beat Thor. Assuming the reason for their battle is because Thor is possessed or tricked, Cap would be able to use Mjolnir against him.
