Although Ron isn't the brightest wizard and can be dim-witted and shy at times, he is always there to protect his best friends
Although Harry Potter and Ron Weasley were framed as being the ultimate best friend duo, Harry's friendship with Hermione is much stronger. In the Harry Potter series, Harry's friendship with Ron Weasley is often seen as an iconic pairing.
1. Ginny Weasley and Hermione Granger.
Ron Weasley
He was quick to defend Harry and Hermione, even if it meant that his own life was in danger. Ron had a tough life, but he still managed to find the shining, golden moments in it which made him the most loved Weasley family member.
While their best friend is Lee Jordan – their classmate, dormmate, and fellow prankster – the twins are also good friends with Harry, having played Quidditch with him for Gryffindor.
1) Bill Weasley
He is incredibly handsome and marries the series's most beautiful woman, Fleur. On top of that, he's the survivor of a werewolf attack, making it out with his iconic scars. Bill is the coolest in the Weasley family, and even the titular character knows this well.
She began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on 1 September, 1992, and was sorted into Gryffindor House, like the rest of her family. She met three great friends at Hogwarts: Aquila Black, Maisie Cattermole, and Ophelia Brown.
Verdict: Ginny almost makes it to the top of the Weasley rankings for coolness. She trained herself at Quidditch when her brothers never let her play, she had the meanest Bat Bogey Hex around (and wasn't afraid to use it), and continued to cause havoc at Hogwarts to rebel against the Death Eaters in Deathly Hallows.
George was the better Quidditch player
George seemed to be the slightly more aggressive of the two on the Quidditch pitch, described once as hitting a Bludger at a player as a way of 'vent[ing] his feelings', and retaliating for a foul by elbowing a Slytherin Beater in the face.
Without a doubt, Dolores Umbridge is the most hated character in the Harry Potter universe. Her unnaturally calm and polite demeanor paired with her cruelty makes her incredibly irritating.
Hermione is a Muggle-born Gryffindor, who becomes best friends with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Rowling states that she was born on 19 September 1979 and she was nearly twelve when she first attended Hogwarts.
Hermione Granger
Arguably the most famous female character in Harry Potter, Hermione was a dedicated student who always strived to be the best no matter what it took.
One of Harry's first celebrity BFFs is Stevie Nicks herself, the legendary singer-songwriter of '70s band Fleetwood Mac. In a 2019 interview with Rolling Stone, the “Silver Springs” singer called Harry her and Mick Fleetwood's “love child.”
Hermione and Viktor Krum
From even the earlier films, we all knew Hermione Granger was meant for Ron Weasley. But before their ultimate expression of love in the final film, Hermione went to the Yule Ball with one of the Triwizard Tournament's champions, Viktor Krum (Stanislav Ianevski), in Goblet of Fire.
She Was Attracted To Him First
Of the two of them, it was Hermione who realized she liked Ron first as she dropped heavy hints in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire of her attraction. She fully realized she liked him by the time of the Yule Ball, but didn't do anything because of Ron's tactless behavior at the time.
Harry: Better At Defense Against The Dark Arts
Invigorated by his battles with Voldemort, Harry displays a proficiency for defensive magic that outrivals Hermione's. In the books, Harry's O.W.L. results for DADA are higher than Hermione's, the only exam in which he outperformed her.
William "Bill" Arthur Weasley is the eldest son of Arthur and Molly Weasley; he is two years older than Charlie, the second son. He is tall with long, red hair tied into a ponytail and a fang earring, both of which his mother disapproves of. At Hogwarts he was in Gryffindor House and Head Boy in his seventh year.
Bill Weasley
The eldest sibling of the Weasley family, Bill was older and more powerful than most of the brood. The profession of his choosing was one of the most challenging and dangerous ones — Curse Breaking required courage, magical know-how, and resilience like no other.
Bill Weasley
Often forgotten prodigy, Bill Weasley is easily one of the strongest wizards alive during the timeline of the Harry Potter books. We don't get to see him use his abilities often enough, yet it's quite clear that he possesses incredible magical skill.
Cederic Diggory
This choice was even confirmed by J. K. Rowling who said that Cederic is probably the most attractive character in the book series. He is described as Hogwarts' golden boy who is good at everything and popular among all of the students.
He is a member of the Weasley family, a pure blood family that resides in "The Burrow" outside Ottery St. Catchpole. Being the only member of the three main characters raised in magical society, he also provides insight into the Wizarding World's magical customs and traditions.
Lavender Brown is Ron Weasley's love interest in "The Half-Blood Prince." Warner Bros. Cave featured most prominently as Lavender in "The Half-Blood Prince," where her character becomes infatuated with Rupert Grint's Ron Weasley and engages in a very pubic, PDA-filled relationship.
Ron - From the moment he became friends with Hermione he liked her as a friend a lot. From second year though he developed a small crush on her, and was rather jealous when she seemed to have a crush on Lockhart.
However, in the Order of the Phoenix, Ginny becomes less nervous around Harry, and even starts to date other boys. This possibly causes Harry to become interested in her, and in the sixth book, Harry has a big crush on her, while Ginny was dating Dean Thomas.
Overview. Ginny Weasley's first romantic entanglement is an enthrallment with Harry Potter which visibly continues throughout the first four books. She remains unattached and taken with Harry until she hooks up with Michael Corner, a Ravenclaw student.
