The unnamed ninja of the Uzui family is the father of Tengen Uzui and eight other unnamed siblings, and is a sociopathic and abusive ninja clan leader who sees his clan's survival over his family.
Shinobi Training: Before joining the Demon Slayer Corps and becoming a Hashira, Tengen was a ninja from a family of shinobi. Tengen received extremely harsh training that killed all his siblings except for his younger brother who became cold and heartless.
At the end of Season 2, Episode 12, there's a short scene that explains why Tengen has three wives, named Makio, Suma and Hinatsuru. Tanjiro tells the audience that Tengen's family practices polygamy, the custom of having more than one spouse at a time.
At some point of her life, Suma married Tengen Uzui, along with Makio and Hinatsuru, although she volunteered to be his wife while the other two were arranged marriages. After she left the clan, her family journeyed to see Kagaya Ubuyashiki in order to fight as a part of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Tengen Uzui is a 23-year-old Ninja married to three female ninjas who are all between the ages of 19 and 21. Suma, the youngest of Tengen's wives, is 19 years old. Hinatsuru, the oldest wife, is 21 years old, while Makio is 20 years old. The age gap between Tengen and his wives is not so much.

In the eighth episode of the "Entertainment District" arc, Upper Six Gyutaro couldn't stop gushing over his man-crush on Tengen.
