The Avengers stood no chance against the Rot, as it could only be defeated by its parents. In the end, Thanos and
Thane is the secret Inhuman son of Thanos. After a descendant Inhuman tribe ran afoul of Thanos and his army, one Inhuman woman returned home pregnant with Thanos' child.
Despite the fact that Thanos initially dismissed Nebula's claim and even the very idea of having children, INFINITY (2013) revealed that Thanos had a son named Thane with an Inhuman woman. Thane initially appeared human before he underwent Terrigenesis.
Thanos' Children are the adoptive children of Thanos, and also his minions. However, two of his daughters, Gamora and Nebula defected to the good side. Others include Corvus Glaive, Cull Obsidian, Ebony Maw, and Proxima Midnight. They are all members of the Black Order.
Thanos adopted six known children, Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, Cull Obsidian, the Zehoberei Gamora, and the Luphomoid Nebula, and trained them in the ways of combat, turning each of them into a deadly warrior.
However, Gamora was Thanos' favorite due to the fact that she always excelled in training and beat Nebula every time their stepfather pitted them against each other in a fight. He saw Nebula s nothing but a lab rat on whom he conducted experiments with bionic enhancements.
The Ultimate version of Ronan the Accuser is the son of Thanos, and is a part of his empire. He is ultimately defeated by the Thing.
In the original Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos uses his omnipotent power to create a new wife, Terraxia, revealing the truth of his motivations.
Thanos' Eternals lineage
In the comics, Thanos is an Eternal, and one from a very important bloodline: His father, Al'ars, was the son of Kronos, who ruled the Eternals of Earth following a civil war that divided the original colony. Following his father's death, Al'ars traveled the universe as the Mentor.
The theory posits Ego, Odin, and The Ancient One as three of Thanos' greatest fears, and he waited until all of them were dead to make his move.
ErosStarfox. Eros grew up on Titan alongside his brother Thanos, embracing all the pleasures that life has to offer. He laters becomes Starfox and an official member of the Avengers.
So, Starfox is a Titanian and an Eternal, just like his brother Thanos. Thanos, however, inherited the Deviant gene, which caused him to look purple and deformed. The MCU changed many things about Thanos, Titan, and the Eternals.
That villain is, of course, Kang the Conqueror, who's set to be the Avengers' next opponent in the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. And while Thanos is certainly a hard act to follow, Kang may be a far greater threat than the Mad Titan ever was.
Kang is more powerful than Thanos
Thanos certainly presented the Avengers with a challenge, and his power continued to grow as he amassed the various infinity stones. Kang, though, seems to have almost limitless power once he can access even one aspect of his hyperadvanced technology.
While Thanos is an Eternal and has the standard powers of super-strength, agility, regeneration, immortality, and more, Adam Warlock takes the upper hand. He can be killed, but he resurrects to be stronger every time.
On a distant planet Thanos returns to one of his many lovers along with their son. She is overjoyed to see him and puts their son in his arms. She tells him to let him see what kind of man his father really is. He then proceeds to slaughter the child to horror of his mother before killing her as well.
Upon learning that Annihilus wanted to destroy all life in both the positive and negative matter universes, Thanos tried to release Galactus. Most unfortunately, Drax showed up and ripped out Thanos's heart, killing him.
Nebula appears in The Super Hero Squad Show, voiced by Jane Lynch. This version is Thanos' older sister. Nebula, based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) incarnation, appears in Guardians of the Galaxy (2015), voiced by Cree Summer.
As explained in ULTIMATE X-MEN (2001) #11, Ultimate Fury was transporting Weapon X through Kuwait when their convoy was ambushed. He lost his left eye in the explosion but was ultimately saved by the man who would become Wolverine. And, he's worn the eyepatch ever since!
Thanos was born to A'Lars, a member of the Titans, a race of powerful, god-like beings that evolved on the planet of Titan. He belonged to the royal family of Titan and was the adoptive brother of the Eternal Eros, who eventually left Titan.
With the Power Stone, Ronan chooses to first destroy Xandar, and then go after Thanos, a decision that ultimately sealed his fate as he could have easily killed Thanos with the Power Stone.
After learning about the price he has to pay to fulfill his goal, Thanos starts crying and eventually throws Gamora off a cliff. Thanos thinks of Gamora as his true child, and by killing her, the Mad Titan is sacrificing everything he loves to fulfill his duty. And just like that, Gamora meets a devastating death.
Thanos is known in Marvel Comics for his everlasting love of Lady Death, but the object of the Mad Titans' desire was originally intended to be a member of the shape-shifting Skrull race.
The acquisition of the Soul Stone turned out to be the hardest, as Thanos had to sacrifice everything to obtain it. And this is why he was crying because he had to sacrifice Gamora. We must also consider that Thanos was hoping to make the Universe a better, more sustainable place for everyone, including Gamora.
