Birth. Born from
The son of Carnage, Toxin, was believed to be the most powerful symbiote ever created. The raw power of Toxin was so great that he was feared even by the King in Black, Knull, creator and leader of the symbiotes.
The first and most well-known symbiote is Venom, who originally attached itself to Spider-Man during the 1985 Secret Wars miniseries. After Spider-Man rejected it upon discovering its true evil nature, the symbiote bonded with his rival, Eddie Brock, with whom it first became Venom.
The character is the offspring of Carnage, the third major symbiote in the Marvel Universe, the ninth known to have appeared in the comics outside of the Planet of the Symbiotes storyline, and the first symbiote that Spider-Man considers an ally, despite several temporary alliances with Venom in the past.
A new preview from Marvel Comics has revealed Venom's grandson Toxin is the darkest symbiote, while still technically being considered a hero. Marvel's King in Black crossover event has taken over the Marvel Universe, seeing Knull the Symbiote God overwhelming the entire globe with his symbiote army.
Blue Symbiote (2) (Agony): In the comics Agony was one of the symbiotes forcibly spawned from Venom alongside several others by the Life Foundation.
In his final scene, actor Stephen Graham shows off the glowing blue eyes of seemingly possessed police officer Pat Mulligan. Mulligan just so happens to share his name with the first host of the Toxin symbiote in Marvel's numerous Venom spinoff comics.
Born from Carnage as the 1000th symbiote in its lineage, "Toxin" was feared to be the strongest and most dangerous of their race by both Carnage and Venom besides Knull. Shortly after being born, the symbiote united with police officer Pat Mulligan.
They rapidly age the symbiotes and pair them to people: Scream (yellow, female), Agony (pink, female), Lasher (green, male), Riot (grey, male) and Phage (orange, male).
Trivia. In the comics the symbiote Phage is also referred to as the Yellow Symbiote, has identical colors, and originates from the Life Foundation. Phage was only named decades after the its debut, after years of not having an offical name.
Knull, also known as the God of the Symbiotes, is one of the overarching antagonists in the Marvel Comics universe, serving as the main antagonist of the Venom comic book series.
Carlton Drake is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Riot) of the 2018 film Venom, the first installment of Sony's Spider-Man Universe. He is the misanthropic CEO of the Life Foundation, who is bent on fusing humanity with Symbiotes in order to "save" the human race.
Dylan Brock is the son of Eddie Brock and Anne Weying. When Anne bonded to the Venom symbiote, she somehow became pregnant with Dylan. He was created by the symbiotes in order to destroy their god Knull and sever him from the hive-mind.
The bond between the Carnage symbiote and Kasady was stronger than the bond between Brock and the Venom symbiote. Cletus Kasady was also a serial killer and thought of as insane. As a result, Carnage is far more violent, powerful, and deadly than Venom.
The Hybrid Symbiote was considered the strongest of the Venom-spawn created at the Life Foundation. It was created after the Symbiote Scream destroyed the other four Life Foundation creations Phage, Riot, Lasher, and Agony.
Chaos is the Symbiote Overlord on the symbiote planet and the Commanding Officer of the symbiote army that invaded earth. He is the epitome of evil and chaos (hence his name 'Chaos'). He was overthrown on his home planet and thrown in the deepest pits of Tartarus, the worst and the most horrifying prison in the galaxy.
He soon finds out that one of his symbiotes were stolen by Eddie, so he orders men to hunt him down. Drake would ultimately be bonded with a symbiote named Riot, and have no more use for Eddie.
The Donna Diego incarnation of Scream, referred simply as "Female symbiote", was featured in Marvel's comic book trading cards in the 1990s. The Donna Diego incarnation of Scream was featured in OverPower' "Mission: Separation Anxiety" series.
Toxin would be the 1000th symbiote to be born of their specific line. Carnage was afraid that this genetic position would make his child more powerful than him and as a result, Carnage hated Toxin before he was even born.
Both Venom and Carnage feared the potential power of Toxin, establishing him as a force to be reckoned with. The character was created by writer Peter Milligan and artist Clayton Crain.
More Powerful: Carnage
Ranked as IGN's 90th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time, Carnage is undetectable by Peter Parker's spider-sense, is essentially Venom's progeny and is much more powerful than his predecessor.
Agony is largely dark purple with dark pink mix symbiote, it grants its host with claws, a blade along the fur end of the forearms, fangs and fairly long prehensile hairs, as well as manipulate its body into various form.
Toxin is a red and black symbiote.
