Ercole Visconti is Portorossi's resident bully: a spoiled, narcissistic, Vespa-riding jerk. With the help of his two sycophantic sidekicks, Ciccio and Guido, he annoys the townsfolk and makes a target of outsiders like Giulia, Luca, and Alberto.
A few of the townsfolk are revealed to be sea monsters as well and Luca is finally reunited with his family. The humans welcome the sea monsters, with the exception of Ercole, whose prejudice turns him into an outcast. His henchmen, who were fed up with his abuse, throw him into the fountain and abandon him.

Does Luca have a gay character? Technically, the answer is no. HOWEVER! While Disney has not come on the record saying that Luca and Alberto are gay, we (and many a Twitter user!)
Uncle Ugo is a supporting character in the 2021 Disney•Pixar animated feature film, Luca. He is a sea monster, Luca's uncle and Lorenzo's brother.
Alberto's Father is the unseen overarching antagonist of Pixar's 24th full-length animated feature film Luca. He is Alberto Scorfano's estranged father who abandoned him for unknown reasons, thus causing Alberto to be jealous and possessive of people out of fear of being alone again.
His dad left after deciding that Alberto was old enough to take care of himself, and Alberto knows that he's probably never coming back. All of this explains why Alberto gravitated to Luca. He needed a place to belong because, although he tries to hide it, he knows that he is abandoned and alone.
Luca 2 is an upcoming animated Disney/Pixar film that is a sequel to the 2021 Pixar film Luca. It is set one year after the events of the first film. It stars some of the original cast from the first film reprising their roles; including Jacob Tremblay, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Emma Berman.
Luca's sister believes that he has super powers. He can hear noises that are very hard to hear and he remembers all the name's of the streets that they pass. Near the end of the film Luca's sister explained that Luca had autism.
Character information
Ercole Visconti is the main antagonist of the 2021 Disney•Pixar animated feature film Luca.
According to one article (via Inside the Magic) however, the name's use in both films was purely coincidental. While the creators of Encanto chose the name Bruno for stylistic purposes, Luca's writers picked the name at random.
Luca Bish. Luca's sister is named Claudia and we know she's running Luca's social media.
Daniela Paguro is Luca's loving mother, who's determined to keep her son safe. She regularly warns Luca of the dangers beyond the sea and the land monsters who live there. Daniela is no pushover: If she thinks Luca is breaking her number-one rule—don't go near the surface—she'll go to great lengths to stop him.
Set in the Italian Riviera in the 1950s, Luca and his best monster friend Alberto have an unforgettable summer with their new human friend Giulia.
Alberto has a scar on his upper left arm, presumably by a harpoon. In human form it's a barely noticeable pale marking, while in his sea monster form it appears as a cut.
When Luca and Alberto meet Giulia's father Massimo, viewers see that he only has one arm. When Luca asks him how it happened, he says in a scary voice, “A sea monster ate it.” After a beat, he reveals he was just kidding and that he was born like that. This is the only acknowledgment of his disability.
Fake Pregnancy: Cristina fakes being pregnant in an attempt to keep Alberto from annulling their marriage in season 3. She cheats on Alberto and finally gets pregnant for real, but far too late for Alberto to plausibly be the father, so she fakes being further along than she actually is.
Unfortunately, none of the tangible romantic chemistry between Luca and Alberto was ever made official in the film, and Casarosa is now talking about why that was, even though making the characters gay was reportedly a possibility.
After Luca left the villa in August 2022, he continued to date his Love Island girl Gemma.
Luca's surname is Paguro, which means 'hermit crab' in Italian. And in case you were wondering, Alberto's last name, Scorfano, means 'scorpionfish. '
The exact number of days Alberto was alone waiting for his dad is 383. This means he had been living on Isola del Mare for over a year. While he mentions he had stopped counting eventually, the tally marks mean that he had been living there for at least one year and 18 days.
The titular character, Luca Paguro, is a sea monster with the ability to shape-shift into human form when on dry land.
At the heart of Luca is the story of the titular boy and his new best friend, Alberto. The pair are sea monsters, having a naturally humanoid/amphibious body, but upon stepping onto dry land, the boys gain a fully human appearance -- at least until they get wet, which reverts them back to their original forms.
