Authority: In-ho is the leader of the masked men, the overseer of the Squid Game and a high authority in the games, being surpassed by the creator of the Squid Games, Oh Il-nam.
Jang Deok-su (Korean: 장덕수), also referred to as Player 101, is a major antagonist in the first season of the South Korean Netflix series Squid Game. He is a gangster boss in South Korea who decided to participate in Oh Il-nam's 2020 Squid Game in order to pay off the debts he owes to the mafia and to a Filipino casino.
As it turns out, Player 001 was protected all along, and he was right under our noses. He was one of the obscenely wealthy masterminds behind the entire competition. Player 001 and the rest of the cartel are the same puppet masters who decided to create the games as a source of entertainment.

Player 040 is a minor antagonist of the first season of the South Korean Netflix drama series Squid Game. He is a member of Jang Deok-su's gang in the 33rd Squid Game. He was portrayed by Yoon Young-kyun.
We saw her get hit by a flying shard of glass when the bridge exploded and she lost a lot of blood. Player 456 (Gi-hun) ran to the guards asking them to help his dying friend then player 218 (Sang-woo) brutally stabbed 067 in the neck and secured his spot as one of the two finalists in Squid Game.

We learn that the organizer of the games is in fact Oh Il-nam (No. 0001), the old man. He founded the games with several wealthy friends after the group had become bored with their fortunes and wanted to have “fun.”
Sang-woo, who came this far, sacrificing his sense of decency and humanity in order to win, plunges the knife into his own neck, doing the deed for Gi-hun. His dying wish is for Gi-hun to take care of his mother, and, unwillingly, Gi-hun becomes the winner of the games, though his triumph is hollow.
While he doesn't initially appear to be, Oh Il-nam is undoubtedly the most intelligent person in the series. He's able to go through almost the entirety of the games without anyone either killing him or realizing that he isn't the innocent old man that he says he is.
Triangles are placed on the middle rung of the Squid Game hierarchy – they act as armed soldiers. Squares are effectively the bosses within the worker's group, they keep their fellow triangles and circles in check and call the shots. Of course, all the pink suited workers answer to the Front Man!

Ika Musume (Japanese: イカ娘), also known as Squid Girl in the English version is the main protagonist in Shinryaku! Ika Musume.
Despite showing a cruel and self-serving side during the final few games, he is actually polite and not really heartless, as seen during most of the competition. This is shown as he helps Ali Abdul in Seoul and his teammates during the games, especially when the generous action will not bring any harm to his own life.

The character reveals that he is extremely rich and at was at a point in his life where he was bored. Having everything he wanted didn't leave him happy and so he created the game to have some “fun”.
Take Player 111, a doctor, who works with guards to harvest organs of deceased players to sell to Chinese buyers, in exchange for more food and hints on the next game. Player 111 and the guards are eventually caught and killed for breaking the “equality” of the game.

Two of the least likeable Squid Game characters – Jang Deok-su, Player 101 (Heo Sung-tae) and Han Mi-nyeo, Player 212 (Kim Joo-ryoung) – were defeated by the glass bridge round, with Mi-nyeo keeping her promise to kill Deok-su if he betrayed her.
