John Kreese, known mononymously as Kreese, is the main antagonist of The Karate Kid franchise, serving as the main antagonist of The Karate Kid, the opening antagonist of The Karate Kid Part II, the secondary antagonist of The Karate Kid Part III and the main antagonist of the YouTube Red/Netflix series Cobra Kai.
In an interview, that came out just before Season 4, one of Cobra Kai's showrunners Michael Schlossberg was asked to rank the strongest characters on the show, and as expected, he confirmed that Miyagi was still at the top spot.
1 Eli “Hawk” Moskowitz
Hawk is also extremely aggressive when he fights which is to his benefit. While training with Cobra Kai, his offense was his greatest asset while his defensive skills lacked. Hawk really relied on his offense which has been his downfall against opponents who have a strong defense.
John Kreese (Martin Kove) has been the longest-running antagonist in the Karate Kid and Cobra Kai franchise. His mentorship of Johnny Lawerence in the Cobra Kai dojo in the original Karate Kid kickstarts the whole franchise. He has been the main antagonist of Cobra Kai since season two.
Hate: John Kreese
No fan of Cobra Kai will be surprised to see Kreese under the "Hate" category for this list. Kreese is a manipulative, selfish, and wicked old man whose only joy in life is inflicting pain on others.
Even as skilled as he is, Robby also has trouble against opponents who are equal to him in skill. In season four, he and Hawk were equal throughout their match. However, Hawk proved to be the better fighter and was able to counterattack Robby's high-risk moves.
And plus if it was just a straight up fight between Robby and Miguel, Miguel will win cause he's twice better than robby. Not only that he's actually stronger than robby. One he isn't better at fighting then Robby and he certainly isn't twice as strong and two, Robby is way stronger than Robby.
Without Miguel at his best Robby is easily the top student fighter in the show, and he has only gotten better during Season 3. Not only does he have the harsh experience of prison, he's got combined Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai teachings to a level that nobody else in the show can match.
Kove probably scored his greatest visibility to the public in the hugely successful The Karate Kid (1984) in which he played John Kreese, the head instructor of the Cobra Kai karate school. He reprised the role in the two sequels, The Karate Kid Part II (1986) and The Karate Kid Part III (1989).
Kyler Park is a major recurring character in Cobra Kai. He is a rich high school student who bullies students of a lower status than himself. His bullying of Miguel Diaz prompts Miguel to take karate.
While assigned to 5th Group, Kreese earned the title of Karate Champion of the U.S. Army, which he held from 1970 to 1972. Kreese, along with Silver, trained under Kim Sun-Yung, Cpt. Turner's Tang Soo Do teacher, in South Korea before returning home from the Vietnam War.
Tory is more physically gifted as she's shown to be stronger, faster and more durable than Sam, but Sam is more skilled and is a smarter fighter than Tory.
In a career spanning 16 years and four months, Miguel Acosta fought 40 times with 29 wins, 9 losses, and 2 draws. By his last professional fight on March 25, 2016, Acosta's boxing record stood at 29-9-2 (23 KO wins, 4 KO losses).
Plus Miguel technically won the courtyard fight with Robby, just as he beat Keene at the All Valley. (Robby has failed twice in the tournament finals.) Diaz is debatably the better fighter, but it's hard to argue that Miguel is a better person than Robby.
Thanks to Demetri, Miyagi-Do Karate and Eagle Fang form a truce as the larger enemy is Cobra Kai. The three dojos war when Cobra Kai attacks Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang at the LaRusso home, ultimately ending with Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang defeating Cobra Kai, partly because of Hawk's defection from Cobra Kai.
Hannah Kepple (Born Nov. 2000) is an upcoming and rising American Actress, and she is known primarily for her recurring role as "Moon" on the American web series titled "Cobra Kai." She also has worked on some smaller projects and TV Shows, including documentaries and some other TV Series.
John Kreese is arguably the most intelligent character of the series and, unfortunately, he uses all of his knowledge and abilities to carry out his villainous plans. He is a master manipulator and knows how to interact with everyone just right so he can get his way.
COBRA KAI'S ALICIA HANNAH-KIM ON PLAYING BADASS SUPERVILLAIN KIM DA-EUN, HAIR, FIGHTS AND MORE.
1 Sam LaRusso Blends Two Distinct Karate Styles Into Miyagi-Fang.
Why was Sam Larusso so afraid of Tory? She was suffering from a type of PTSD after their confrontation at the school. In their brutal one-on-one fight, Tory armed herself with what looked like spiked knuckles. At times, it looked like she was literally going to kill Sam.
When Silver first appears in Cobra Kai, he's a distinguished man of wealth, a far cry from the coked-out maniac he was in The Karate Kid Part III. He was rich back then too, the CEO of the shady toxic waste disposal company DynaTox Industries, which he got by inheritance not his own hard work.
But fans might find it interesting to know that Martin Kove—who's played Kreese all along—has a son of his own, Jesse Kove, also an actor. And he played a small role in Season 3 that fans will certainly recall.
Terry Silver was John Kreese's best friend when they were soldiers in Vietnam and Kreese saved Silver's life so Silver paid for Kreese's dojo called Cobra Kai. But after The Karate Kid Part III, their dojo was banned from the tournament so Silver decided to leave karate.
