Shinobu is currently the Insect Hashira, and takes it upon herself to train and heal young slayers. In this, she is very different from many of the other Hashira who firmly believe in survival of the fittest. Demon Slayer follows the story of Tanjiro Kamado and his younger sister Nezuko.

Shinobu Kocho ( 胡 こ 蝶 ちょう しのぶ, Kochō Shinobu?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Insect Hashira ( 蟲 むし 柱 ばしら , Mushi Bashira?).
Killed And Was Killed By Doma
Before arriving at the Infinity Castle, the Insect Hashira consumed roughly 81 pounds of wisteria poison. Even though Doma killed her, he died just as quickly because of the sheer amount of poison he ingested after eating her.
She was the Insect Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, the younger sister of Kanae Kocho and the adoptive older sister of Kanao Tsuyuri.
1 Mitsuri Kanroji
Mitsuri has a strange connection with her renown for strength while being secure in her talents as a powerful Hashira.
Shinobu confessed her love to Guiyu. in episode 18 of Demon Slayer, Shinobu shows her liking to Guiyu.
Unfortunately, many fan-favorite characters met brutal, untimely demises in Demon Slayer, and the Hashira certainly weren't an exception. Some of their fates, however, were much sadder than others. On a positive note, none of the Hashira died in the Swordsmith Village arc.
Kanae Kocho, the Flower Hashira, was Shinobu's elder sister and adoptive elder sister of Kanao Tsuyuri.
The Water Hashira, Giyu, survived the "Infinity Castle" arc after fighting beside Tanjiro against Akaza and Muzan.
Tengen Uzui
Even though he is large and muscular, and uses that to his advantage, his fighting style relies more on aesthetics and flashiness. He is the fastest Hashira, and the second physically strongest.
Unable to fight back, Doma realized he was tricked but it was too late. He was soon decapitated by the combined force of Kanao and Inosuke, avenging Shinobu and her family.
Over a century ago, Doma held the position of Upper Rank Six ( 上 じょう 弦 げん の 陸 ろく , Jōgen no Roku?), and during that tenure, he turned Gyutaro and Daki into demons and introduced them into the Twelve Kizuki.
1. Gyomei Himejima. Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, is the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer corps in terms of strength and swordsmanship. He is the only person who uses spiked flails and an axe instead of standard swords to kill demons.
On the other hand, Sun Breathing can, presently, only be performed by Tanjiro Kamado. Though its techniques can be taught to others provided they have the guidance of a Kamado, there are no other known users who are currently alive.
Shinobu Kocho Is the Weakest Hashira
The Insect Hashira, Shinobu's petite frame prevents her from being physically able to decapitate any demon, be it an Upper-Rank or the weakest demon in Japan. At one point or another in the manga, all nine Hashira in Demon Slayer encountered an Upper-Rank.
Demon Slayer introduced viewers to the strongest, most elite members of the Demon Slayer Corp, otherwise known as the Hashira. The Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, is set to play a leading role in the upcoming season: The Swordsmith Village Arc. Mitsuri's personality is as bright as her pink braids and big green eyes.
Muichiro Tokito is a mist Hashira, and by extension, the most powerful mist-breathing user. Muichiro's first appearance in the anime was during the Rehabilitation Training Arc when the protagonist, Tanjiro, is introduced to the Hashiras for the first time.
A Thunder Breathing user that reaches the rank of Hashira is dubbed the Rumble Hashira ( 鳴 なり 柱 ばしら , Nari Bashira?). In the manga, whenever a Thunder Breathing user performs their techniques, they visualize themselves creating lightning that is bright yellow in color with a white outline.
Shinobu Kocho was the former insect Hashira who played a big role in defeating Doma, the Upper Moon 2, during the Infinity Castle arc.
Before he is able to regenerate fully, Tamayo appears and uses her Blood Demon Art to keep him in place, while using a drug that can turn him into human. Using this opportunity, Gyomei Himejima appears and destroys Muzan's head.
After various battles within the Dimensional Infinity Fortress the remaining Upper Moons are killed by the hands of various Demon Slayers. The last member, Upper Moon Four Nakime, ends up being killed by Muzan Kibutsuji himself to stop the Dimensional Infinity Fortress from being controlled by his enemies.
Shizuka is seen often teasing Sanemi and making him annoyed, nevertheless, the two had still created a strong bond and relationship with each other. Eventually, after knowing each other for a while, Shizuka finally ended up having the courage and confessed, leading to them getting married after awhile.
It is confirmed in the Volume 23 extras that Inosuke and Aoi did eventually end up together and that they have two great-grandsons, one of which is Aoba.
Giyu would still instruct Tanjiro to train to become a Demon Slayer with Urokodaki. As there is no Nezuko, Tanjiro would have no reason to pity demons, and he'll be much more harsh that he would be if Nezuko was alive.
