Filoni, in a featurette for Ahsoka, reminded the audience that she was “trained by the greatest Jedi of all time..” He was referring, of course, to Anakin Skywalker who went on to become Darth Vader, a Sith Lord.
Ahsoka Had the Highest Kill Count of the Clone Wars
Ahsoka is known for being one of the more pacifistic Jedi, to the point where she refused to kill any Clones during Order 66. But when it comes to destroying battle droids, Ahsoka is far in the lead with a staggering 4 million kills throughout The Clone Wars.
Jedi like Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi have long stood as light against the darkness. But the record Sith-killer is actually Darth Bane himself. Darth Bane, founder of the Rule of Two, killed more Sith than any Jedi in the history of the Star Wars galaxy.
An'ya Kuro was one of the most powerful – and most brutal – Jedi of the pre-Clone Wars period. While most Jedi were peacekeepers, she was a true warrior, nicknamed "the Dark Woman" for her violent training sessions, many of which ended with her students being injured.
But one Jedi stands above the rest and needs to start getting recognized as the greatest Jedi who ever lived. That is none other than Obi-Wan Kenobi. While this saga is ultimately the story of the Skywalkers, Obi-Wan is arguably the best and most pure Jedi to ever come out of it.
Arguably, some of the rarest types of Jedi were the so-called Iron Knights. These are members of the Shards species - crystals with a brain of their own.
But these complaints often ignore the sheer number of Jedi who did die during Order 66 and shortly afterward. We are talking about, at least, a few thousand. Considering how few survivors there are—less than 100 as of 2023—the actual death toll is probably closer to nine thousand or so. That's still a lot of dead Jedi!
Nevertheless, most Jedi fell. This included in the Jedi Temple, where almost everyone, including younglings, were killed by Vader and his clone forces.
Surprisingly, Anakin Skywalker and Palpatine are nine and 10 respectively, not having nearly as many deaths on their record. The List Of Deaths Wiki does count Order 66 and the Jedi who died because of Palpatine's orders, though.
Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, Yoda's Jedi instructor was N'Kata Del Gormo, a Hysalrian Jedi Master, according to an in-universe legend.
Yoda is widely revered as the wisest Jedi and stronger than most in his connection with the Force. During his incredibly long lifespan, he trained generations of Jedis, ultimately serving as the Grand Master of the Jedi Council.
1 Obi-Wan Kenobi
Star Wars fans do not have enough good things to say about the popular Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, as he was a fan favorite even before the Obi-Wan Kenobi series started streaming on Disney+.
As the first Dark Lord of the Sith, Ajunta Pall founded the first Sith Empire and expanded it onto other worlds. The Sith took over the planet Ziost and created it as their capital and as Pall's new home.
1 Luke Skywalker
Having faced his father once before, Luke was familiar with his tactics and used the force to gain an upper-hand. In Star Wars Canon, only Luke Skywalker can be acknowledged as the one who truly defeated Darth Vader.
A Sith Lord with the ability to cheat death and create life, Plagueis is the mentor of Sheev Palpatine / Darth Sidious, who, in accordance to the Sith's Rule of Two, eventually betrays Plagueis by murdering him in his sleep, taking his place as Sith Master.
Emperor Vitiate was a Sith Lord who successfully gained near immortality by draining the life force of an entire planet, later attempting to drain all life in the galaxy, which would give him true immortality.
Even though Kylo Ren uses a red lightsaber, harnesses the dark side of the Force, and wears a cape, he is not a Sith. Because of that, he can never hold the title of Darth. Instead, he was just a chaotic mess of the dark side (until he eventually found his way back to the light).
Few Sith were as haunting and terrifying as Darth Nihilus, a Sith Lord who was almost an apparition, rather than a man. He barely spoke, preferring instead to communicate through the Force, which made him almost impossible to reason with.
Yoda was a wise, experienced, and powerful Grand Master of the Jedi of an unknown species and the oldest known prophet in existence (having lived at least 900 years), considered the wisest and most powerful Jedi Master within the Star Wars universe.
