#1 – Yoda. Yoda is widely considered to be the greatest Jedi of all time, and with good reason. He is a master of the Force, a skilled warrior, and has an unmatched wisdom that comes from centuries of experience. He is the embodiment of what it means to be a Jedi, and his legacy lives on long after his death.
Anakin, for sure. He was twice as powerful as Luke was at his age as he was trained properly in the use of the Force and in lightsaber combat. Luke had no style really, pretty much blindly slashing the lightsaber around when he was younger. Anakin really WAS the chosen one.
Obi Wan is one of the most powerful Jedi to have ever lived. He is the best defensive duelist in galactic history according to Mace Windu and numerous factbooks. He had a low sensitivity to the force but mastered it to his fullest potential worshiping the force as opposed to bending it to his will.
The answer to this should be pretty obvious period since Yoda was far higher in power and skill then Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Obi-Wan Kenobi was able to defeat Anakin therefore Yoda could certainly defeat anakin and he would have done it likely within the first 5 to 10 seconds.
In Star Wars Legends and Canon, Galen Marek (Starkiller) is the only Jedi (other than Obi-Wan Kenobi) to put a beat down on Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker.
Aside from agility and telekinesis, Yoda could absorb and redirect Force attacks, like lightning. Because of his higher understanding, he would easily overcome Darth Vader in a fight, though that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a difficult battle.
Coleman Trebor
He was the Jedi that looked more or less like a bipedal dinosaur with opposable thumbs. Coleman Trebor is by far the weakest Jedi to ever exist. He made his movie appearance in Attack Of The Clones.
Anakin ultimately fulfilled his role as the Chosen One and brought balance to the Force, fulfilling Qui-Gon Jinn's belief in the prophecy that foretold Anakin's destiny. Accepting his fate, Anakin joined his Jedi mentors in death by becoming one with the Force.
1 Darth Sidious
There has been no Sith, as powerful, meticulous, nor as evil as the Emperor himself, Darth Sidious. As previously mentioned, Sidious trained in the Dark Side by Darth Plagueis before Sidious killed Plagueis in his sleep, making Sidious a Sith Master.
REY - Stronger Mentality
Unlike Anakin, Rey was able to resist the dark side despite the temptations and her unlikely relationship with Kylo Ren. She was able to see the bigger picture and she didn't let her ego get the best of her, even though she had a lot of talent and skills.
Yoda. Yoda was a wise, experienced, and powerful Grand Master of the Jedi of an unknown species and the oldest known prophet in existence (having lived at least 900 years), considered the wisest and most powerful Jedi Master within the Star Wars universe.
A year later, with his health rapidly declining, Yoda died of old age and became one with the Force in 4 ABY, shortly before Luke redeemed his father Anakin, who fulfilled his destiny as the Chosen One by killing Sidious.
Yoda was a legendary member of the Jedi Council as a Grand Master of the Jedi Order and member of a mysterious species capable of living for centuries. He was stronger than most in a connection to the Force and though he was small in size, he'd been so powerful and wise having had trained Jedi for several centuries.
Jedi Sentinel
Unlike the Scout, the Sentinel has the highest amount of Skill points per level of any Jedi class, making them even more versatile. Obi-Wan Kenobi's master Qui-Gon Jinn is probably the Star Wars character that best represents this blend of Force use and combat talent.
In the first-season finale, Moff Gideon, former officer of the Empire, emerges from the wreckage of his fallen TIE fighter. And he wields the Darksaber...
This ensured that the Sith could hone their skills in secret without fear of betrayal from rival Sith factions. More cunning and devious than all but the most attuned Force-sensitive beings, Darth Bane could more than likely defeat Yoda in a battle of both strength and wit.
In the end, Thanos' neck is only as strong as his skin. Even if his lightsaber can't cut through Thanos' invulnerable skin, Darth Vader can still Force choke the Mad Titan and prevail.
Darth Vader defeats Darth Maul. The two Sith Lords engaged in a lightsaber duel, going through the volcano and onto a bridge situated over a river of lava, which collapsed, though they both survived and continued their battle.
One of the main reasons why Yoda would've won against Anakin is simply because he was far better trained than him. Yoda could see the moves his opponents were going to make before they made them; therefore, battling against Anakin would've put him at a far heavier advantage.
In Legends, Luke Skywalker was the undisputed most powerful Jedi to have ever lived in our knowledge, surpassing Yoda.
As the Empire retaliated against the Rebellion in the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin, Emperor Palpatine consolidated Lord Vader's powers as Supreme Commander, formally conferring the latter military, political and administrative authority second only to that of his master; the changes to office were subsequently ...
