Hermione Granger
Hermione received ten out of twelve O.W.L.s in her fifth year. She received top marks in every subject except for Defense Against the Dark Arts. Harry received an 'O' in this exam, and it is the only one he did better at than Hermione.
1. Transfiguration. This class was famously described by Professor McGonagall as "the most complex and dangerous magic you will learn at Hogwarts," which is why it's at at the very top of the list.
Tom Riddle/Voldemort
Professor Dumbledore once said that Tom Riddle, a.k.a. Lord Voldemort, a.k.a. "He Who Must Not Be Named" (Ralph Fiennes/Hero Fiennes Tiffin/Christian Coulson), was the most brilliant student that Hogwarts has ever known.
1. Albus Dumbledore. Image Via Warner Bros. Dumbledore (Richard Harris and Michael Gambon) may not have been the one to ultimately defeat Voldemort, but he was frequently cited as the only person Voldemort ever feared -- meaning he was the main rival of both of the most infamous Dark wizards in modern history.
Without a doubt, the most powerful wizard in Middle-earth is Gandalf the White. While Gandalf was always a reasonably powerful wizard in his own right, facing off against the Balrog in the Mines of Moria, a battle that took ten days and resulted in the mutual demise of Gandalf and the Balrog.
Dumbledore may have been a legendary wizard, but he can't be compared to, well, Merlin, a wizard so legendary even Muggles know of his exploits. Merlin was the world's most famous wizard, and, arguably, the world's most powerful.
Dumbledore takes Harry in as his favorite student, protects him, and shows faith in him and his abilities. He then sends Harry out to kill a dangerous wizard with very little preparation, all the while planning and expecting for Harry to meet his death.
As she falls into all three groups, Professor, then Headmistress, Dolores Umbridge is probably the worst teacher at Hogwarts. In Dumbledore's defense, he never actually hired her.
Those that are gifted with the power of flight are perhaps more rare than any other wizard that has any other power. Able to fly purely because of their own powers and not reliant on any type of enchanted item or spell at all, the number of these special wizards known to exist can be counted on one hand.
Transfiguration. 'Transfiguration is some of the most complex and dangerous magic you will learn at Hogwarts,' she said. 'Anyone messing around in my class will leave and not come back.
Draco Lucius Malfoy is a fictional character in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. He is a student in Harry Potter's year belonging in the Slytherin house. He is frequently accompanied by his two cronies, Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle, who act as henchmen.
There's no question that Hermione was one of the best and fiercest characters in the Harry Potter franchise. With an abundance of wit and intelligence, she always proved to be a vital asset in everything, and needless to say, Harry, Ron, and the entire wizarding world would have struggled to survive without her.
In fact, Ron is consistently weaker than Harry in the books and movies. While Ron is powerful enough to fight by Harry's side, it's pretty clear that Ron's spellcasting falls short of Harry's, and he would lose if they fought for real. Especially if he's using that broken wand of his, held together with Spellotape.
Worst: Lucius Malfoy
Lucius Malfoy is pretty clearly a bad person, but he's a perfect example of how banal cruelty and evilness can be. Lucius likes to control, humiliate, and cause people pain, but he's also too weak and self-absorbed to really become one of the evil "greats," so to speak.
The Head of Slytherin is Horace Slughorn (who left the role to Severus Snape for fifteen years before taking it up again in 1996) and the House's patron ghost is the Bloody Baron.
Harry also happened to be Snape's least favorite student.
It is without a doubt Draco Malfoy, it's very obvious throughout the series how favourably he treats Draco, there are many different factors for this, as we know Both Student and teacher are in we're in Slytherin and so this is a reason for the connection.
Author JK Rowling announced Albus Dumbledore was gay in 2007. It's known that he and Grindelwald were in a romantic relationship but it had never been explored in the previous Harry Potter films. Fantastic Beasts 3 might address the depth of their relationship.
Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was the only wizard Voldemort ever feared and the only one who could have defeated him in a duel. Albus Dumbledore is the most powerful wizard in the Harry Potter.
Godric Gryffindor, the founder of Gryffindor house, was one of the most powerful wizards of his age, so powerful that he was said to be the greatest duelist of that era. Always ready for battle, Godric wouldn't just use a simple wand, he'd also wield a mighty sword.
