Being a deity, Mephisto has a plethora of powers that range from manipulating space and time to being so strong that no one has actually ever beaten him in the comics. Considering how he seems to hold his powers back, Mephisto is likely someone who is stronger than Thanos.
That villain is, of course, Kang the Conqueror, who's set to be the Avengers' next opponent in the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. And while Thanos is certainly a hard act to follow, Kang may be a far greater threat than the Mad Titan ever was.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige made the official announcement that Kang the Conqueror will be the MCU's next Thanos-like villain. At Comic-Con 2022, he stated that Phase 5 of the MCU will focus on creating new heroes and exploring new storylines.
While Thanos is an Eternal and has the standard powers of super-strength, agility, regeneration, immortality, and more, Adam Warlock takes the upper hand. He can be killed, but he resurrects to be stronger every time.
1 Galactus
Marvel has many powerful immortals, but few can match Galactus. The World Devourer controls the full might of the Power Cosmic, which gives him near complete control of energy and matter.
Kang vs. Thanos: Who is stronger? Kang is stronger than Thanos, with the Conquerer being much more challenging to defeat than the Infinity Gauntlet-wielding villain.
Galactus was killed by Thor during the "Herald of Thunder" story arc in Thor (vol. 6) #1–6 (March 2020 – August 2020), and reappeared after a two-year hiatus in Fantastic Four (vol. 6) #45 (July 2022) — the final issue of the event "Reckoning War" — where Galactus is resurrected by his former heralds.
3 Darkseid Is Thanos's Superior
The God of Evil has been fighting his wars for countless millennia and is one of the most powerful beings around. Few enemies have ever been able to beat him one on one and killing him is nigh impossible. Thanos is a fearsome enemy, but Darkseid is his superior in all forms.
The Asgardian Son of Odin was extremely close to ending Thanos at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. After gaining the powerful weapon Stormbreaker, Thor becomes the wielder of the most powerful weapon in the universe. Stormbreaker is capable of killing Thanos outright, and only Thor is currently worthy of wielding it.
Kang is more powerful than Thanos
Kang, though, seems to have almost limitless power once he can access even one aspect of his hyperadvanced technology. Just allowing him to have his suit gives him the ability to shoot massive energy beams and move other people with his mind.
Being surprised with Nebula's trust in what he had said, Thanos thanked her for believing him and finally admitted that perhaps he had treated her too harshly. Before he could say anything else, an enraged Thor decapitated Thanos, killing the Mad Titan.
Thanos (Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame)
Mentor (A'lars)
He Who Remains (aka Kang)
Kang is very easily more powerful than Doctor Strange, considering that a variant of him has overtaken every single universe, as is revealed in episode six of Loki (and somehow not at all addressed in Spider-Man: No Way Home).
Thor. Blessed with the powers and long life of a god, Thor was undoubtedly the most powerful member of the initial version of the Avengers. Not only can he fly and transport between worlds, but he was also the only one capable of taking down Thanos, even after he had assembled all six Infinity Stones.
Kang is a human, so he isn't naturally more powerful than Thanos, but his presence throughout the multiverse makes him a far stronger opponent than the MCU Thanos who snapped away half of all life in Infinity War.
As per the user, the director of Avengers confirmed that Thanos was most scared of Iron Man. “Not because of his strength, not because of his power, not because of his power, but because of his suit,” he added.
However, Ultron, who was fascinated with the Stones, effortlessly killed Thanos by cutting his body in half with a laser beam from the Mind Stone and obtained all the Stones for himself which turned him into a cosmic being.
Instead of aliens, androids, and wizards, Thanos is afraid of aliens, Asgardians, and wizards. The theory posits Ego, Odin, and The Ancient One as three of Thanos' greatest fears, and he waited until all of them were dead to make his move.
While the MCU Hulk was not able to defeat Thanos, his comic book counterparts pose a better chance to make an even fight particularly if Thanos does not wield the Infinity Gauntlet. These two titans in the Marvel Universe seem destined to do battle in some form or another.
The Anti-Monitor's vast intelligence and cosmic understanding could also play a role in his defeat of Thanos. He could outsmart Thanos, exploiting his weaknesses and neutralizing his power.
He would use the power of the stones, as shown in comics and the movies. Thanos would win, but not by hand to hand combat. Superman is fast and strong, but if Thanos has the infinity gauntlet, Thanos wins. He can alter reality, manipulate space and time, and have unlimited power.
and Marvel Studios officially released a scene ahead of Ant-Man in the west Quantum media that confirms that King the Conqueror killed Thor in another. timeline.
Tiamut's sentiment for Earth is reflected slightly in the MCU's Eternals, but the comics show him off as an entity that is capable of defying all of creation. Even though there are threats more powerful than Galactus and the Celestials in Marvel Comics, Galactus has never feared anything as much as he's feared Tiamut.
Cosmic Entity: Possessing the immeasurable Power Cosmic, Galactus is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe, has near-limitless godlike powers, and is considered an omnipotent entity. His cosmic powers are beyond most forms of measurement.
