While Barry emits yellow lightning in his wake, Iris trails purple lightning instead. Not only that, she also had a purple speedster suit. "There's a specific reason we designed the costume the way we did," executive producer Todd Helbing says.
The main reason why Nora only has purple lightning in this timeline is because of her brother Bart West-Allen, a.k.a. Impulse. After Nora reunited with Barry, Bart rushed in and was seen having yellow lightning.
"Accelerated Man" is a speedster native to Earth-19, and an overseer of the law-enforcing Collectors of Earth-19, formerly including Cynthia/Gypsy. Due to the destruction and recreation of the multiverse, his status is unknown.
Purple: Purple lightning has been produced by "Accelerated Man" and temporarily Iris West-Allen after Matthew Kim transferred Barry's powers to her. However, the reason for this lightning coloration is currently unknown. In the current timeline, Nora West-Allen also produces purple lightning.

In a conversation with The Open Up Podcast, Patton, who has portrayed Iris West on the series since 2014, explained that she wanted to leave the show “as early as season two” because she felt “severely unhappy” amid a slew of harassing messages online from fans.
During a battle with the team, Matthew transfers Barry's super speed to Iris, giving her the powers of the Flash. Hence, when a new threat is unleashed on Central City, Barry must act as the team leader, while Iris takes over as a speedster in order to defeat their new foe.
