Hulk has traditionally been seen as the strongest Avenger physically — and for good reason, though he's been subdued by both Iron Man and Thor.
Scarlet Witch
During Avengers: Age of Ultron, there was a sense that the two strongest characters on the roster that fought Ultron were Thor and Hulk. But as it turned out, the team unknowingly included a much stronger character in the form of Scarlet Witch.
Thor, the god of Thunder, was undoubtedly the most powerful member of the original Avengers. His power continues to grow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Hulk is an incredibly powerful Avenger in the MCU. He effortlessly defeated Chitauri Leviathan and Loki in the first Avengers movie, and in Thor: Ragnarok, he proved his dominance by winning a gladiatorial fight against Thor.
2) Captain Marvel
She holds her own with Thanos in hand-to-hand combat for longer than Thor, Iron Man, or Steve Rogers, and takes down his enormous warship single-handedly.
3. Thor. Blessed with the powers and long life of a god, Thor was undoubtedly the most powerful member of the initial version of the Avengers. Not only can he fly and transport between worlds, but he was also the only one capable of taking down Thanos, even after he had assembled all six Infinity Stones.
Steve RogersCaptain America
Recipient of the Super Soldier serum, World War II hero Steve Rogers fights for American ideals as one of the world's mightiest heroes and the leader of the Avengers. America's World War II Super-Soldier continues his fight in the present as an Avenger and untiring sentinel of liberty.
Hercules / Zeus
In fact, he is considered by many authorities to be the physically strongest character Marvel has ever created.
Hawkeye isn't the strongest Avenger. In fact, he's probably the weakest member of the team. He's a guy who is good with a bow and arrow, as he admits in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Even among the members of the team who don't have superpowers, Hawkeye doesn't stack up.
Moon Knight's power level is often up for debate, but every night he demonstrates that he is capable of taking out each of the Avengers.
Having wielded the star-forged weapon for countless centuries, Thor and Mjolnir have quite the singular bond, despite the various trials and tribulations they've been through. And that bond is ultimately what proves that the Mighty Thor has surpassed his father, Odin.
Captain America
Cap is one of the few mortals able to not only lift Mjolnir but wield its full power, making him someone who can beat Thor. Assuming the reason for their battle is because Thor is possessed or tricked, Cap would be able to use Mjolnir against him.
#1 Iron Man
Played by Robert Downey Jr., Iron Man consistently ranks as one of the most popular characters, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe—and for a good reason.
Steve Rogers aka Captain America is the best example of someone who showed the bravery of a hero before they were a superhero.
Abilities. Super-Genius Intelligence: Tony is a phenomenal scientific genius and inventor with an IQ of 186.
While Quicksilver is often thought of as the fastest of the Avengers, one hero fans know from the movies can actually outrace him when they need to. Many heroes possess enhanced speed, but Pietro Maximoff is generally considered Earth's fastest man (at least in Marvel Continuity).
When it comes to the Avengers who can beat Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange is undoubtedly one of the most potent contenders. His ability to manipulate the fabric of reality and his mastery of the mystic arts make him a formidable adversary.
The invincible Iron Man may have the best and most well-built armor that can protect him from bullets or bombs, but a single strike from Wolverine can end his life. It is true that Iron Man is one of the most skilled members of the Avengers team, and Wolverine is one of the deadliest mutants from X-Men.
In the aftermath of his failure, Thor had a new-found determination to kill Thanos and undo the Snap. The remaining Avengers converged on the Titan's home to find him wounded and the Infinity Stones destroyed. Seeking vengeance, Thor raised Stormbreaker and, with one fell swoop, beheaded Thanos.
Wanda was still a formidable adversary, capable of tipping the scales in favor of Ultron (James Spader) or the Avengers, depending on who she was helping. Still, without her Chaos Magic from Marvel Comics, Wanda was not more powerful than Thor or Hulk.
