The grand finale of The Boys comic book series confirms that there is only one hero who is actually stronger than Homelander, and that's his (even more) evil clone, Black Noir. Created to be an upgraded version of Homelander, Black Noir proves his superiority in the final battle between these two deranged powerhouses.
By every standard, Homelander is considered the strongest super-abled person alive, being feared and respected (but mostly feared) by virtually every other member of The Seven.
Gumchum doesn't do anything else in the series besides off his fellow Supes gum. It's his sole purpose. He might be the worst hero in terms of powers and abilities in The Boys, as he's effectively useless in battle.
How Strong Is Hughie Compared To Homelander? Although suped-up Hughie is far stronger than normal Hughie, he still doesn't come close to how powerful Compound V has made Homelander. Hughie can teleport, but Homelander is so fast that he could probably beat Hughie to wherever he is going.
Starlight is the one member of The Seven who has genuinely good intentions and wants to help people. Unfortunately for her, she's not the most powerful member of the team, so she has to work with others to influence The Seven from the inside and stop her villainous co-members from committing evil.
Superhuman strength: Soldier Boy is not as strong as Homelander, Stormfront, or any other supes. However, he is still relatively strong, similar to a super-soldier. Superhuman Speed: Soldier Boy is able to dodge bullets as well as punches and blows easily.
Ryan Butcher is the only known child to have inherited his superpowers from his father and is believed to be the first natural-born Supe in all of human history.
Though Homelander and Black Noir are theoretically evenly matched, Black Noir succeeded in killing Homelander, making him the one Supe to do the impossible. As the number one Supe, it's unlikely that anyone could defeat the Seven's leader.
If the twins were separated, they would be unable to use this ability. Negligence: After years of disuse, the TNT Twins discovered they were unable to activate their ability of trinitrotoluene generation, managing only a few harmless sparks.
Originally referred to simply as "The Female," Kimiko is a literal silent assassin who gained superhuman strength and regenerative powers after being forcibly injected with Compound V by Vought to create super terrorists for their superheroes to fight. She also became mute after her mother was killed.
Yup, Soldier Boy is Homelander's biological father. Suddenly all these daddy issues make a lot more sense. This character element isn't from the original The Boys comics, but was something Kripke and the writer's room came up with for the show.
Blunt Force/Limited Durability: Supes such as Homelander, Soldier Boy, Black Noir, Queen Maeve, and Stormfront possess strength greater than hers and can overpower and even kill her.
In theory, Soldier Boy should be able to kill Homelander, assuming his power affects Homelander the same way it affected Kimiko. But there's no guarantee; Homelander could get wind of the attempt and kill everybody before they try something.
Amazon Prime Soldier Boy is a war hero in both the comics and the show. In the TV version of The Boys, the character is also a WWII hero who possesses superhuman speed, strength and durability, again thanks to a special serum. His longevity appears to be real in the show however.
With superhuman strength, durability, and agility, Kimiko is a force to be reckoned with. Not to mention, Kimiko has insanely powerful regenerative abilities, as we first see in Season 1 where she is able to survive fatal dagger wounds from Black Noir in just a matter of minutes.
In the "What I Know" arc, Butcher is revealed to have killed Soldier Boy with a public funeral being held for him and members of the Seven (including the Homelander) serving as his pallbearers.
When asked about Homelander's weakness, Madelyn Stillwell claims he does not have one, saying, “There isn't a weapon on Earth that they haven't thrown at him. They've all failed,” implying that he could also survive nuclear explosions.
Superhuman Hearing: Black Noir possesses highly acute, superhuman hearing that aids him in his fight against crime. He tracked Butcher from Becca's house, and detected the Boys in a hidden room when Terror barked, giving away their position.
While initially an enigma, it is revealed at the climax of the series that Black Noir is actually a clone of the Homelander, developed by Vought-American as a contingency, in case the leader of the Seven became a liability, and as such, has all of his powers, including heat vision, super strength, durability, flight, ...
Powers. Sonic Clap: By clapping his hands together, Supersonic could generate powerful sound waves. He appears to have a great control over the intensity of each sound wave produced by his claps. His powers were demonstrated in the "Rock My Kiss" music video, produced in 2008 by the Vought Music Group.
Superhuman Strength: One of Queen Maeve's primary abilities is tremendously enhanced superhuman strength, far greater than that of normal human beings. She was one of the most physically powerful Supes to have ever lived, only surpassed by Homelander.
According to Vought, though, Soldier Boy died in 1984 as a result of a nuclear power plant meltdown.
While Homelander is considered one of the most powerful superpowered beings in his universe, against Captain Marvel, the leader of the Seven wouldn't stand much of a chance, as the Marvel hero would destroy him without much effort.
