Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates encounter a lot of enemies during their time on the Grand Line — but none are near as formidable as the World's Strongest Creature, Kaido.
"The Killer" Daz Bonez is a former bounty hunter who joined Baroque Works and was the highest ranked male Officer Agent and the strongest under Crocodile himself. His codename was Mr. 1 and his partner was Miss Doublefinger.
He clashed against Luffy in the fourth level of Impel Down, known as the Burning Hell. Magellan was way stronger than Luffy and was able to easily overpower him in battle.
With its powers, Luffy was able to topple even Kaido and if he could defeat the man who was the Strongest Creature Alive, he can certainly defeat Shanks as well.
Like many characters on this list, Shanks isn't a traditional swordsman and he doesn't appear to be a proficient with a blade as Mihawk, however, it is believed that he is stronger than the latter. Shanks is presumably far above Zoro's level.
Luffy is close to Shanks in terms of power and it is only after their fight that he will officially be able to call himself stronger than Shanks.
In zoro vs luffy, luffy has greater will, greater haki and pretty much everything. Zoro loses easily.
Roger and his men, as seen during the Oden flashback, would simply be too strong for Luffy to defeat in a fight.
Throughout his journey Luffy has made strong bonds with numerous women. At least two have fallen in love with him, Alvida and Hancock, whilst another two have become enamoured with him, Rebecca and Shirahoshi. Nami, Robin and Vivi all share close and deep bonds with Luffy and have become some of his closest friends.
Heracles is a strange warrior that used to reside in the Greenstone forest in the Boin Archipelago. He trained Usopp in the use of Pop Greens for two years.
The Supa Supa no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that enables the user's body to gain characteristics of a steel blade to attack opponents with, making the user a Fullbody Bladed Human (全身刃物人間, Zenshin Hamono Ningen?, VIZ: "Human Sword"). It was eaten by Daz Bonez, also known by his Baroque Works alias Mr. 1.
Dracule Mihawk is Zoro`s greatest rival and holds the title of the strongest swordsman in the world. Mihawk is extremely skilled with the blade and his sword fighting is described as very aesthetic.
Whether Shanks can defeat Kaido or not is unknown, but he is certainly on par with Kaido, if not stronger. Interestingly, the two have already fought once in the New World, and Shanks emerged unscathed at Marineford after the fight.
While using Gear 5th, Luffy is able to extend his elasticity to inanimate objects. Luffy's devil fruit awakening allowed him to beat Kaido, who was considered the "Strongest Creature in the World." In his Gear 5th form, there are not many One Piece characters who can defeat him.
It is evident that the only person capable of surpassing Roger is Luffy. Even though Luffy still has a lot to achieve, he is the only person who can transform the entire world.
But where most of his companions are at least somewhat superhuman due to eating a Devil Fruit, Zoro is just a regular combatant. Sasuke's talent, training, and Sharingan would probably be enough to overpower him, especially since Zoro gets disoriented easily.
Zoro and Sanji are both powerful fighters, but throughout the One Piece series, it was emphasized that the swordsman is a much stronger fighter with greater ambition and status. Comparing their respective feats, it seems that Zoro surpasses Sanji even in the specific parameter of speed.
Not only do Luffy's Devil Fruit powers allow him a noticeable advantage, but he also wields an immensely superior Haki, meaning that he can easily overpower Sanji. Luffy would most likely win the fight rather easily even if he didn't put his all in, due to the massive gap between him and his cook.
The concept of power up Gears has been a core part of the One Piece franchise and allowed Luffy to take on the most difficult of foes. Fans speculate Gear 6 is inevitable – and with the series winding up to its conclusion, it could play a pivotal part in the final conflict.
Mihawk holds the title of "World's Greatest Swordsman" and, as such, it is beyond any doubt that his swordsmanship skills are superior to those of Shanks. This was, once again, brought up in One Piece 1058 where he was specifically compared to Shanks.
