3 Peter Parker from the 'Spider-Man' series (2002-2021) While Peter Parker might not face quite as much personal tragedy as Black Panther's Shuri (and not in such a short space of time), he still stands as perhaps Marvel's least lucky hero.
So did Marvel succeed? Well, kinda. In terms of impact on the MCU characters, yes, Thanos is the baddest of them all. He kills half the universe!
Thor. Blessed with the powers and long life of a god, Thor was undoubtedly the most powerful member of the initial version of the Avengers. Not only can he fly and transport between worlds, but he was also the only one capable of taking down Thanos, even after he had assembled all six Infinity Stones.
2) Captain Marvel
She holds her own with Thanos in hand-to-hand combat for longer than Thor, Iron Man, or Steve Rogers, and takes down his enormous warship single-handedly.
Thanos. The Mad Titan is still the greatest threat in the MCU. He remains the only villain to have prevailed against Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and although his actions were ultimately undone, his rampage left considerable physical and psychological scars on the entire world.
Thor. Without a doubt, the funniest character in the Marvel world is Thor. Even without the Bro Thor character, which is a sheer comedy for most of Avengers: End Game, he is an incredibly funny character.
#1 Iron Man
Played by Robert Downey Jr., Iron Man consistently ranks as one of the most popular characters, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe—and for a good reason.
Thor. Thor, the god of Thunder, was undoubtedly the most powerful member of the original Avengers. His power continues to grow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Her name is Neena Thurman and she's the luckiest mutant in the entire Marvel Universe. Literally. Aside from being a skilled mercenary, Neena's mutation is that she's lucky almost all of the time.
Bailey Hoskins
However, he is probably Marvel's most useless character. Hoskins is a mutant, whose power is that he can blow himself up … once. He can only do it once because he'll die in the process, so, of course, he doesn't use his powers at all.
Man-Thing
Given that he's a giant, reclusive, slow-moving swamp monster, Man-Thing doesn't exactly have a whole lot of job prospects open to him. Hell, he can't even function in normal society let alone hold a job. But at least all his needs are provided for him by his swampy habitat.
While Thanos is an Eternal and has the standard powers of super-strength, agility, regeneration, immortality, and more, Adam Warlock takes the upper hand. He can be killed, but he resurrects to be stronger every time.
That villain is, of course, Kang the Conqueror, who's set to be the Avengers' next opponent in the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. And while Thanos is certainly a hard act to follow, Kang may be a far greater threat than the Mad Titan ever was.
villainess. noun. vil·lain·ess ˈvil-ə-nəs. : a woman who is a villain.
Hercules / Zeus
In fact, he is considered by many authorities to be the physically strongest character Marvel has ever created.
As explained in ULTIMATE X-MEN (2001) #11, Ultimate Fury was transporting Weapon X through Kuwait when their convoy was ambushed. He lost his left eye in the explosion but was ultimately saved by the man who would become Wolverine. And, he's worn the eyepatch ever since!
During the Marvel NOW! relaunch, Shang-Chi joins the Avengers after being recruited by Captain America and Iron Man.
Steve RogersCaptain America
Recipient of the Super Soldier serum, World War II hero Steve Rogers fights for American ideals as one of the world's mightiest heroes and the leader of the Avengers. America's World War II Super-Soldier continues his fight in the present as an Avenger and untiring sentinel of liberty.
