Shinobu Kocho is a capable Demon Slayer whose worthy of being the Insect Hashira. That being said, she's arguably the weakest Hashira when it comes to pure strength. However, brawn is not the only way to determine power in Demon Slayer.
The journey begins at Mizunoto, the lowest rank, obtained after surviving the Final Selection exam held in the demon-infested woods of Mount Fujikasane. There are ten ranks in total, progressing from Mizunoto to Mizunoe, Kanoto, Kanoe, Tsuchinoto, Tsuchinoe, Hinoto, Hinoe, Kinoto, and Kinoe.
Muzan Kibutsuji – Demon King
Muzan, the King of Demons, is the strongest and also the primal demon in the world of Demon Slayer. Consuming his blood is enough to turn you into a powerful demon. He can control all the demons in existence, with only people with strong willpower like Nezuko being an exception.
1 He Was The Only Lower Moon Killed By A Hashira
While we only saw two lower moons in action (three if you count Kyogai), Rui's the only one that was taken down by someone who wasn't part of the main cast. It makes you wonder why he was rated as lowly as he was, as you could argue, he was stronger than Enmu.
Upper Rank 3: Akaza.
In conclusion, Tanjiro will not be able to kill Muzan by himself since the Demon King is far superior in every aspect of combat. The manga has shown fans the singular way that Muzan could be bested and it was only due to the collective efforts of Demon Slayer Corps members.
Tanjuro Kamado was the name of Tanjiro Kamado's father. He passed away before the event of the main story of the Demon Slayer. It is not mentioned how long Tanjuro had passed before the story, but in several flashback scenes, we can see him interacting with a younger Tanjiro.
As such, the anime is now going to introduce a new character, Kaigaku, who will replace Daki and Gyutaro as the new Upper Moon 6.
Tanjiro decapitates Akaza with the Hinokami Kagura: Setting Sun Transformation. Akaza was bewildered, wondering how Tanjiro did not have any fighting spirit, comparing this feeling to fighting against a plant. He acknowledges that Tanjiro surpassed his speed.
In the beginning of the series, Zenitsu is seen as a weak person who doesn't seem capable of much until he is asleep. In his sleeping state he awakens an extraordinary power that makes him an extremely powerful and skilled swordsman.
Nezuko is easily one of the most powerful demons in the Demon Slayer series, possibly due to the large quantity of blood she was given by Muzan. But what makes her a truly terrifying opponent is her willpower, being the only other demon after Tamayo to escape Muzan's control.
The warrior Muzan feared was a swordsman named Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Yoriichi was the only slayer before Tanjiro who came close to killing Muzan, and the flashback of their fight occurred in Chapter 187.
Three Hashiras Tanjiro could beat in Demon Slayer
Comparing an end-of-story Tanjiro to an end-of-story Muichiro, Tanjiro likely takes the win home 99 times out of 100.
In the first few arcs of the series, the identity of the demon that killed Tanjiro's family was a mystery. It is later revealed that it was none other than the series' main antagonist, Muzan Kibutsuji.
The Mist Hashira, along with Gyomei, Sanemi, and Genya, fought the Upper Moon 1. While the group was able to defeat them, both Muichiro and Genya died due to the wounds inflicted by Kokushibo.
Kokushibo was the final Upper-Rank to die during Demon Slayer's "Infinity Castle" arc. Muichiro, Genya, Sanemi Shinazugawa and Gyomei Himejima fought together against Kokushibo, though Muichiro and Genya were no match for him and were killed.
Obanai held Mitsuri in his arms, and the two succumbed to their injuries. These were all the Hashira who died in the series. The only Hashira who have survived are Tegen, Sanemi, and Giyu. For more Demon Slayer and other Shonen-related articles, stay tuned to our website.
Fortunately, Zenitsu was able to single handedly beat the Upper Moon 6. Not only did he defeat the demon, he also created a seventh form called the Flaming Thunder God. These are the demons who have been given the title of Upper Moon 6 in Demon Slayer.
One thing that Demon Slayer fans have noticed is that Akaza refuses to eat or kill women.
We first see Doma when he is still the Upper Moon Six while he is in the middle of eating a geisha. Later he becomes even stronger and rises to the position of Upper Moon Two. He dies because of the lethal amount of poison he absorbed through Shinobu Kocho's body followed by Kanao Tsuyuri beheading him.
