The "most faithful servant" is Barty Crouch Jr., who has already been in place at Hogwarts working for Voldemort. The three dead include Evan Rosier, Wilkes, and Regulus Black.
They (despite never having seen Spaceballs) make a rational assumption that Voldemort will win based on his power/history. And they want to be on the winning side. They agree with Death Eaters/Voldemort's politics (wizards should rule over Muggles, stronger wizards should rule over weaker ones).
Of course, Bellatrix and Snape were easily his favorites, but the Carrow siblings were up there as well. There are many instances that prove that Voldemort appreciated Amycus and Alecto Carrow. First and foremost, he selected them to accompany Draco on his mission to take out Dumbledore in The Half-Blood Prince.
Bellatrix Lestrange was Lord Voldemort's equal in cruelty, if not worse than him. She was unparalleled when it came up to committing some of the most horrible acts of cruelty and destruction. She truly belonged to the Dark side and loved to embrace it.
The most heroic member of the Death Eaters is Severus Snape. For most of the series, he was the man who fans thought was an evil and vindictive person, always bullying and pushing around Harry Potter. He was also by the side of Lord Voldemort and appeared to betray Dumbledore.
Bellatrix Lestrange (née Black) is the first female Death Eater introduced in the books. Aunt of Draco Malfoy and Nymphadora Tonks. She was introduced in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She is the most faithful member of Voldemort's inner circle.
Besides Dumbledore, he is also the only wizard ever known to be able to apparate silently. Voldemort was also said to fear one wizard alone, Dumbledore.
He did not love anyone, and did not care to be loved. He felt nothing for his family, and only wanted his friends in school to rally around him because he wanted to hold power over them. Bellatrix Lestrange was obviously in love with him and worshiped him, but he only cared for her servitude, not her.
His followers, the Death Eaters, do not use his name but instead refer to him as the "Dark Lord", and address him as "My Lord" or "Master". Most in the Wizarding world flinch or protest when they hear his name spoken openly. The Death Eaters also take offense when others refer to their master in his ineffable name.
He hated his father for being a muggle, leaving his mother and her heritage, etc. Voldemort hated Dumbledore because he (Dumbledore) was his (Voldemort's) rival. Voldemort hated (or more feared and disliked) Harry because he (Harry) was his doom.
Why is he incapable of love? Eventually, J.K. Rowling revealed to us that the reason Voldemort is unable to feel love is because he was conceived under the influence of a love potion.
Voldemort's greatest fear is death and as a result a boggart takes the form of his own corpse. It is unsurprising that this is Voldemort's biggest fear. After all, he did split his soul up encasing it in various horcruxes just so to keep himself from dying.
Objectively, Gellert Grindelwald actually had better "Dark Lord" achievements than Voldemort, despite being killed by him. Voldemort just happened to be eviler and more driven, hence more dangerous, but he is by no means more powerful than Grindelwald.
Albus Dumbledore
It is not certain what the specific fear is as he is not fearing the death of his sister as she is already deceased and it is suggested that Dumbledore fears that it was him who directly killed his sister in the conflict or that he fears the loss of control that lead to his sister's sudden death.
She seemed to have a sick obsession with Voldemort that went so far beyond romantic desire. She was also very clearly scared of him and his remarkable magical abilities. However, the reason for her obsession clearly went a lot deeper and probably had to do with the relationship that she had with her parents.
Voldemort Never Figured Out Snape Was A Spy
He openly despised some of his Death Eaters, even the loyal ones like Luscious Malfoy. However, there were a select few that had his trust, and whom he treated with respect. This included Bellatrix Lestrange and Severus Snape.
Tom Senior was loved by Merope, who became obsessed enough to use a Love Potion on him. Tom M. Riddle was obsessively loved by one of his Death Eaters, Bellatrix Lestrange. Bellatrix was so eager to please him that she would 'prune' her 'family tree' by murdering her niece.

6 Bellatrix Lestrange
When Voldemort first lost his power, Bellatrix never sold him out, instead taking a life sentence in Azkaban. Upon her rescue, Bellatrix, now immensely more insane due to her stay in Azkaban, was seen as the most loyal Death Eater.
Bellatrix was the first female Death Eater introduced in the books. Bellatrix had a fanatic obsession with the Dark Lord although she was clearly fearful of his magical abilities and absolute power over his forces. She's almost as sadistic and homicidal as Lord Voldemort, with a psychotic personality.
