He seemed to have a close, brotherly relationship with his fellow Yaksha. In his story teaser, he can be seen discussing a robe with another Yaksha and drawing on Xiao's face with ink. According to Xiao, he was also the first Yaksha. They called him “Brother Bosacius.”

He has unwavering respect and loyalty towards Zhongli for renaming him and saving him from his imprisonment. He won't tolerate those who speak badly of him and is happy to serve the people of Liyue in return for his freedom.

Shi Long. The moment the empress and her husband found infant Shi Long, they loved her like a daughter. They doted on her for several years, with a strong mother-daughter bond between the two until Xiao was born, upon which she stated focusing on Xiao instead.
In more ways than one they are complementary to each other. In fanfiction and fanart, it is mostly showcased Xiao being protected or comforted by Venti. Some recurring themes are playing the flute, moonlit meetings (especially at Wangshu), and longing for millennia.
Canon. Guizhong and Zhongli have known each other before the Archon War — the two are both gods, Guizhong the God of Dust, and Zhongli the God of Contracts. The two first met in Dihua Marsh, in a garden of glaze lilies. Guizhong showed Zhongli her stone dumbbell, the Memory of Dust, hardly suppressing her joy.
Guizhong and Zhongli were incredibly close, and it's highly likely that they had a deeper relationship with each other.
It is implied that Xiao knows of Rex Lapis' mortal form with evidence from his voiceline "About Zhongli", referring to Zhongli as 'Zhongli-daren' and 'Zhongli-sama' in the Chinese voice and Japanese dub respectively.
5 Xiao, 2000 Years Old
Currently, Xiao is the only Yaksha left in Genshin Impact, the one presiding over the element of Anemo. As a full adeptus, Xiao has a long history of 2000 years.

6 Zhongli Is His Former Boss

Canon. Both Hu Tao and Zhongli are friends (Zhongli's Character Details) who work together at Wangsheng Funeral Parlor as its director and most revered consultant, respectively. Solidifying them as a duo in the game.
Zhongli, Rex Lapis, and Morax are all names associated with this man, but Morax is the one most known to the people of Liyue.
Even though they are connected to different regions, Venti and Xiao share a very sweet connection. Xiao almost died one night due to his negative karma but was saved by the sound of Venti playing his flute.
XiaoLumi is the het ship between Xiao and Lumine from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Because of this, fans often tease the ship by making theories on how the pair could possibly destroy Mondstadt together in the near future. It's main rival ships are KaeLuc, Kaeya's most popular ship, and Albecrose, Albedo's second most popular ship.
