Boba Fett was definitely dead. We all saw it: a partially blinded Han Solo unknowingly whacked him with a stick in Return of the Jedi, his jetpack malfunctioned, and then he fell into the mouth of a massive sand monster.
George Lucas had his share of missteps before selling the Star Wars franchise, but Disney has managed to do what he couldn't by killing any interest in Boba Fett. The legendary bounty hunter became one of Star Wars' most popular characters, despite minimal screen time and an admittedly silly "death" scene.
His name is Cad Bane and when Boba Fett was swallowed by the Sarlacc pit in 'Return of the Jedi', he became the most feared bounty hunter in the entire galaxy. Cad Bane already had a confrontation with Boba in a lost episode of 'Clone Wars' you can find on Youtube.
Resolved to protect his territory, Boba uses the weapon of his Tusken tribe, his gaffi stick - and stabs Bane through the chest, putting the Pykes' hired gun out of action." With the words “out of action”, it is most likely Bane survived the duel.
In the "Chapter 4: The Gathering Storm", Bib Fortuna is Jabba the Hutt's majordomo who took over his throne after he died. Later, when Fett gets his ship back from Jabba's palace, Fett kills Fortuna and usurps the throne.
Over time, however, Boba Fett's notorious skill at killing Jedi Knights made him invaluable to the New Jedi Order, as the bounty hunter-turned-Mand'alor ended up training Jaina Solo to defeat her brother, Darth Caedus.

Ord Enisence was a Skrilling male Jedi Master hailing from the planet Agriworld-2079. During the Clone Wars, Enisence was killed by the bounty hunter Cad Bane while fighting the Confederacy of Independent Systems far away from the galactic capital of Coruscant.
Trained by Jango Fett, Bane is cold, cruel, and was willing to take any job no matter how sinister. He was often employed by Darth Sidious and the Hutts. He was so wily and strategic that he often outwitted the Jedi, and became known as one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy.
Cad Bane's death signifies Boba Fett's growth from the cold-blooded killer he once was, rejecting the man who taught him to kill and embracing the Tuskens who taught him to protect.
He is cold, cruel, calculating, selfish, and will "track his prey to the ends of the galaxy" for the right price. Bane cares little for the sinister motives of his employers such as Darth Sidious, and has no qualms about harming and murdering innocents and even children in pursuit of his quarry.
After the fall of the Empire, Bane was employed by the Pyke Syndicate to help take power in Mos Espa. However, a long-time rival of Bane, Boba Fett, stepped in the way of this plan. After many attempts to kill Fett failed, the Pykes hired Bane to finish the job. Bane then became Fett's biggest rival in the show.
7): Cad Bane Was Trained By Jango Fett
He was one of the most respected bounty hunters in the galaxy. So it should come as no surprise that Jango mentored a young Cad Bane. This is why Cad was so good at hunting Jedi.
Boba Fett was a villain in the original Star Wars trilogy, a cool, stylish, secretive figure only slightly dampened by his ignominious exit from the story, sucked into the belly of a monster while waiting to watch it eat a hero.
Sintas Vel was a female Kiffar from the planet Kiffu, who became a bounty hunter at a young age. It would be during her career as a bounty hunter that Sintas would meet fellow bounty hunter Boba Fett, whom she fell in love with and later married when she was eighteen years old.
Bane is someone ravaged by pain from a trauma suffered long ago, and the mask dispenses a type of anesthetic that keeps his pain just below the threshold so he can function.

That Boba Fett is just as despicable as the Pyke Syndicate. Cad Bane would later use similar language to mock Boba Fett directly. Cad Bane thinks Boba Fett is fooling himself into thinking that he is something better than the cold-blooded killer who Darth Vader had to single out in The Empire Strikes Back.
Legacy. After his death, Jango Fett's clones told themselves a different story of his death. They believed that he was unaware of Count Dooku's treason and was unwilling to malign his honor by going back on his word, and killed twelve Jedi Masters before being killed himself.
After he was stabbed, Boba Fett walks away and you can hear beeping coming from Cad Bane's chest. People are speculating that the beeping is either a heart monitor that did not end, or its a transponder that went off, alerting Cad Bane's trusty droid Todo 360 to come and rescue him.
Plus, while he specialized in fighting Jedi and was able to hold his own, Cad Bane only killed one Jedi (that we know of), Jedi Master Ropal via torture droid.
Some Mandalorians, most notably members of Death Watch, held a grudge against the Jedi for their perceived crimes against Mandalore during the Mandalorian-Jedi War. During the Clone Wars, anti-Jedi sentiment further developed in a segment of the galaxy's public opinion.
Imperial Viceroy of Mandalore, Gar Saxon of Clan Vizsla was the ruthless leader of the Imperial Super Commandos -- Mandalorians loyal to the Empire. His armor featured a threatening color scheme of red and white, with the Imperial cog emblazoned on his shoulders.
How Yoda Died. Yoda died on the planet Dagobah in the year 4ABY from natural causes when he was 900 years old. He died right after telling Luke that there is another Skywalker, of course referring to his sister Leia.
