The Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, and the Serpent Hashira, Iguro Obanai loved each other and died together. Mitsuri was heavily injured in the battle against Muzan and dodged all the demon lord's attacks by pure luck.
Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira, participated in the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji and perished, alongside her friends Gyōmei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, and Obanai Iguro, the Serpent Hashira.
2 Kyojuro Rengoku
Rengoku died smiling, but not before giving Tanjiro some words of encouragement. He told Tanjiro to keep living with his head held high and that time wouldn't stop just because he was grieving. Rengoku reminded Tanjiro to set his heart ablaze and keep fighting.
Some of their fates, however, were much sadder than others. On a positive note, none of the Hashira died in the Swordsmith Village arc.
1 Mitsuri Kanroji
She felt that only a man stronger than her could love her, so she worked hard to become a Hashira and meet the other Hashira, hoping her partner might be among them. Unfortunately, Mitsuri never got her wish. While battling with Muzan, she attacked viciously, losing both her arms in the process.
5 Hashiras who end up dying in Demon Slayer (and how it happens) Demon Slayer has showcased many characters that vary in personality, strength, and overall combat abilities.
Shinobu Kocho is a capable Demon Slayer whose worthy of being the Insect Hashira. That being said, she's arguably the weakest Hashira when it comes to pure strength. However, brawn is not the only way to determine power in Demon Slayer.
One fateful day, Kanae was attacked by a demon, which turned out to be Upper Rank 2 Doma. He did not have time to eat her, and left her fatally wounded and her injuries took her life as the sun rose. This left a big shadow on Shinobu and Kanao, even today.
We first see Doma when he is still the Upper Moon Six while he is in the middle of eating a geisha. Later he becomes even stronger and rises to the position of Upper Moon Two. He dies because of the lethal amount of poison he absorbed through Shinobu Kocho's body followed by Kanao Tsuyuri beheading him.
Towards the final arcs of the manga, Tanjiro is mortally wounded and dies during a fight with the Demon King Muzan. Though Muzan is also seriously injured, he uses the last of his powers to turn Tanjiro into a demon.
Before the final blow was struck, killing the Demon King, Muzan took down with him some heavyweights namely Obanai Iguro, Mitsuri Kanroji, and Gyomei Himejima— the last of whom is crowned as the most powerful Hashira. By the end of the manga, only Sanemi and Giyu were the only Hashira remaining.
However, Giyu Tomioka does not marry anyone in Demon Slayer manga. While romantic subplots do exist in the series, Giyu's character arc focuses primarily on his growth as a warrior and his relationships with fellow demon slayers.
During her and the other remaining Hashira's fight against Muzan, Mitsuri's left and back braids are cut off by Muzan Kibutsuji's attacks, now shortened to shoulder length, and part of her left ear is also torn at the side. Mitsuri also loses both of her arms in the process of ripping off Muzan's left arm.
Muzan Kibutsuji was killed when he was exposed to sunlight during a fight with the Demon Slayers. He had previously caused the deaths of 8 people including Rokuta Kamado and an unnamed person, as well as indirectly killed Tamayo, Gyomei, Obanai, and Mitsuri.
1. Gyomei Himejima – The Stone Hashira.
Tengen Uzui
He is the fastest Hashira, and the second physically strongest. Obviously, then, Tengen Uzui is rather proud. He is demanding, fussy, boastful, and prone to selfishness. But he is also ultimately kind and caring, with great love for his three wives as well as the other Hashira.
1 Mitsuri Kanroji
When Mitsuri was fighting Muzan Kibutsuji, she grabbed one of his appendages and tore it off with her own hands, demonstrating her incredible strength and dexterity. Mitsuri has a strange connection with her renown for strength while being secure in her talents as a powerful Hashira.
The Wind Hashira has one of the saddest backstories in Demon Slayer. His mother had turned into a demon and had killed five of his siblings. He was forced to kill his own mother in an attempt to save his only remaining brother, Genya.
Gyomei Himejima is the strongest Hashira in Demon Slayer. This fact has been established in the manga as Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu all agree that he is the strongest member of the Demon Slayer Corps. His strength was showcased during the fight against Kokushibo.
Tanjiro's Current Demon Slayer Rank Is Kanoe
Not many of the Demon Slayers' ranks are known as of Season 2, but there are a few. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke have moved from Mizunoto up to Kanoe due to their exploits. Murata, the Demon Slayer, who was almost digested on Mount Nagumo, is also a Kanoe.
Tanjiro decapitates Akaza with the Hinokami Kagura: Setting Sun Transformation. Akaza was bewildered, wondering how Tanjiro did not have any fighting spirit, comparing this feeling to fighting against a plant. He acknowledges that Tanjiro surpassed his speed.
No one killed Sanemi Shinazugawa. Sanemi almost died when he tackled his sister Genya from a window in order to protect her from a demon attack, but was saved by his friend Masachika who healed his wounds.
The last member, Upper Moon Four Nakime, ends up being killed by Muzan Kibutsuji himself to stop the Dimensional Infinity Fortress from being controlled by his enemies.
