Palpatine is killed by a blaster shot fired by Han, but his spirit is captured by the mortally wounded Jedi Empatojayos Brand. When Brand dies, he takes Palpatine's spirit with him into the netherworld of the Force, destroying the Sith Lord once and for all.
By killing Palpatine, Darth Vader not only struck a decisive blow to Star Wars' Galactic Empire but also destroyed the Sith Order of Darth Bane's dynasty as the Chosen One prophecy predicted.
Vader throws Palpatine down that shaft to save his son and no other ulterior motive. Vader/Anakin is at peace with his decision. He redeems himself, passes away, and becomes one with the Force.
By reflecting Palpatine's own Force Lightning back towards him, she lived up to those words and the core tenants of the Jedi. She simply defended against Palpatine, who ended up being killed by his own attack. At no point does she directly attack him.
He certainly thought about killing Palpatine and even used his force power to shoot Palpatine back while he was initially processing the fact that he lost the love of his life in the Vader comics, but he was emotionally crippled, he had no purpose, no one in his life.

Unbeknownst to the galaxy, Palpatine resurrects himself through the dark side of the Force. He secretly masterminds the First Order to restore the Empire, with Supreme Leader Snoke as his puppet ruler.

Like Obi-Wan, the comic is set between Episodes III and IV, and thus explores a rawer Vader, one who still hasn't let go of his old life and is adjusting to his role as the Empire's iron fist. In the Obi-Wan finale, Vader declares, “I [killed Anakin Skywalker].” Dark Lord of the Sith is the story of how he did so.
Because Vader was a shadow of the potential he had before Mustafar, and in Luke Skywalker Sidious saw that potential again. Thus he discarded Vader as a weaker and useless apprentice, to his downfall.
The story is Anakin was manipulated to the dark side by Palpatine based on fears of losing Padme and appeals to his desire power and agency, over his life and the galaxy as a whole.
Yoda found himself overpowered in battle against Darth Sidious, who would become Emperor Palpatine, but his wise retreat gave him time to mentor a new hope before ultimately succumbing to old age and passing into the Living Force on the planet Dagobah.
Moments later, Vader confronts him, and they engage in a lightsaber duel. Obi-Wan uses the duel to distract Vader as Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewbacca escape to the Falcon. Obi-Wan allows Vader to strike him down, and his body mysteriously vanishes the moment he dies.
1 Darth Sidious
As well as being a gifted bladesman Sidious' connection to the Dark Side is extremely powerful, granting Sidious the ability to conduct force lightning.

At the end of Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, we see that Rey has finally constructed her own lightsaber, having reached the end of a long journey and completed training with both Lukeand Leia.
Jedi Master Yoda was 900 years old when he died in Return of the Jedi and was exceptionally wise. While Yoda likely wouldn't have wanted to fight Rey, he could. Yoda's ability to fight with a lightsaber was shown in the prequels, but his knowledge of the Force and how it works would easily defeat Rey.
For many, it seemed like a copout as we were all trying to guess who Rey was, who her parents are, and where all of this power came from. The Rise of Skywalker novelization has confirmed exactly how Rey was able to take down Kylo Ren with ease and it all has to do with Chewie.
Darth Vader's Suit Embeds Needles In His Skin
Unfortunately, these needles, which transmit neurological data throughout his body and allow him to control his limbs, also cause him constant pain. Between the never-ending itchiness and walking around with needles in his skin, it's no wonder he is so angry.
Vader's suit took care of most of his need, which also included food. The suit feed Vader nutrients, which gave him the energy he needed to continue throughout his days. He also consumed RepMed vita paste through a straw, which was located within the grills of his mask.
And while the suit did keep him alive, it also hindered Vader's abilities and potential as a Force-user. But unknown to Palpatine, this decision would result in his demise. Darth Vader was still undoubtedly powerful, and the suit made him more intimidating than Anakin could ever be. But the suit also limited his power.
