Choosing to side with Sabal on this mission will ensure that he becomes the penultimate leader of the Golden Path. This is the final leadership decision you will be able to make, so choose wisely.
Every choice you make in Far Cry 4 is not just a matter of good vs. evil, but a question of which evil you can live with. That's a rather compelling idea for a game to grapple with.
Yes, you can kill both. Once you either killed pagan or let him fly off, you just go back to the right village (the big temple on the river for Sabal and Thirta for Amita. There you will see their true colors and you will be granted the freedom to react in what ever way you see fit.
"Good" Ending Apparently the "good" ending is choosing not to shoot Pagan and instead sitting down with him. He tells you the truth about your father. That he sent your mother to spy on Pagan but the two of them fell in love and had a child name Lakshana.
Sabal is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Amita) of the 2014 video game Far Cry 4. He is one of the two leaders of the Golden Path rebel group opposed to the rule of Pagan Min in Kyrat. He is also the arch-rival of Amita.
Pagan Min is a fictional character from Ubisoft's Far Cry video game franchise. He first appears as the primary antagonist of the 2014 title, Far Cry 4, and was extensively featured in promotional material for the game.
Amita is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Sabal) of the 2014 video game Far Cry 4. She is one of two main leaders of the Golden Path rebel group opposed to the rule of Pagan Min in the game. She was voiced by Janina Gavankar, who also voiced Iden Versio in EA's Star Wars Battlefront II.
He is the new king of Kyrat, according to Pagan. Ajay is the first protagonist who is a native of the region. The only time he screams in the entire game is when he is on fire.
Alternatively, there is a second alternate ending in Far Cry 4. As Pagan Min flies off at the end of the game, players can take out an RPG, shoot him down, and later return to loot the crashed helicopter.
What happens if Sabal leads the Golden Path? In the mission To Reap What You Sow, if Sabal is selected to lead the Golden Path, he will order Ajay to kill Amita, arguing that she is "just another Pagan" and has no respect for her heritage.
As Amita walks away, Ajay has one last choice: to leave her alone and in control, or to kill her. Killing her has no impact on gameplay - but if Sabal is still alive, NPC dialogue in Utkarsh/Banapur shows that he seizes power after her death.
It's the only way to spare Kyrat from more bloodshed. If Sabal is leading the Golden Path, he will be found inside a jeep at coordinates X: 679.3, Y: 641.3.
Spare Pagan Min Ending
Complete the Golden Path quests, choosing to support either Amita or Sabal. Once you have defeated the royal guard, and destroyed the statue of Pagan Min, drive to the Palace to confront him. If you don't pull the trigger, you will put down the gun an sit down for dinner.
There are 4 endings: After dining with Pagan in the very beginning, wait for him to return back to the table (around 15 min), and this will trigger the 1st ending. At the end of the game, you can choose to kill Pagan, this will trigger the 2nd ending.
To clarify: The Dani Rojas choice is cosmetic and doesn't affect gameplay or the story. To quote Ubisoft, "both Danis are equal, both are canon"
Far Cry 4 is a first-person action-adventure game. Players assume control of Ajay Ghale, a Kyrati-American who is on a quest to spread his deceased mother's ashes in the fictional country of Kyrat.
In what appears to be the canon ending to Far Cry 4 because of Far Cry 6's Control DLC, Pagan Min tells Ajay that he is the King of Kyrat after letting him escape the country during the Golden Path uprising, meaning Ajay has the authority to run the country against the rebel group's wishes.
Pagan treats Ajay like his son even though he is his step-father. Pagan is very patient towards Ajay and gives him plenty of chances. Pagan Min is not the uncle of Ajay, but in one of the radio chats, he says, "Just checking in on my favorite nephew" and referred to himself as "Uncle Pagan here."
You don't get the true ending by playing the game. You just get a better understanding of why it is the Good ending. The true ending is the resist ending, the devs confirmed that is the canon ending.
It is claimed that Ajay was rescued from the Himalayas by helicopter, and brought to The Ghale Homestead. A cutscene follows, with either Amita or Sabal congratulating Ajay on escaping Durgesh.
At the end of Far Cry 4's expansion, just as the credits begin to roll, Ajay wakes up as a Yeti.
Pagan takes you to the shrine where your half sister's ashes are and you put your mothers ashes next to hers. Then Pagan tells you that you're the new leader of the country and leaves. "Bad" Ending You shoot Pagan and the game abruptly ends and the credits roll.
Vaas Montenegro is by far the worst villain in the Far Cry series, due entirely to his personality. He's by and large the fan-favorite of the entire franchise, with some gamers even sporting a Far Cry tattoo in homage to the character.
Anton Castillo sometimes feels like the best and worst villain in Far Cry. At times, you're meant to sit back and enjoy Giancarlo Esposito's famous crippling glare and haughty demeanor that seems to encapsulate his most iconic characters.
Antón Castillo, also known as El Presidente, is the main antagonist of the 2021 first-person shooter game, Far Cry 6, and a featured character in the prequel comics Far Cry: Rite of Passage.
