Yoriichi Tsugikuni was the first
Following this, Gyomei Himejima, Sanemi, Giyu Tomioka, Obanai Iguro, Mitsuri, Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke attempted to behead Kibutsuji Muzan.
Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the first swordsmen to ever use Breathing Styles, once nearly killed Muzan with Sun-Breathing, and Muzan has been both physically and psychologically scarred ever since.
Finally, as Muzan was about to land a critical blow on Mitsuri, Tanjiro stabs Muzan with a broken Nichirin blade in the head, and at the same time, Infinity Castle collapses.
Seeing into the Transparent World, Yoriichi discerned Muzan had seven hearts and five brains that change position within his body. Seeing his chance, he combined all his forms into a single attack, cutting through them all and overpowering Muzan completely.
Many Kimetsu no Yaiba fans deduce that Yoriichi is Tanjiro's father, but that isn't the case. However, Yoriichi is responsible for teaching Tanjiro's ancestors the Hinokami Kagura, which has been passed down for generations.
But if we are talking about the human form, then it's a big fat NO, because Tanjiro has just mastered the Sun Breathing whereas Yoriichi is the inventor of it, also he's way more powerful and holds an unfathomable battle intellect, larger than any Demon Slayer in history, so in conclusion, no one is remotely close to ...
Don't go! DON'T LEAVE ME HERE! Muzan speaks his final words as he loses control over Tanjiro.
The Wind Hashira has one of the saddest backstories in Demon Slayer. His mother had turned into a demon and had killed five of his siblings. He was forced to kill his own mother in an attempt to save his only remaining brother, Genya.
The warrior Muzan feared was a swordsman named Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Yoriichi was the only slayer before Tanjiro who came close to killing Muzan, and the flashback of their fight occurred in Chapter 187.
Yoriichi lived till old age, likely due to him having been born with the mark and thereby avoiding the curse altogether. Gyomei on the other hand did not activate his Mark until he was already older than 25. It was speculated that when he awoke his Mark during battle that he would likely die within hours.
In a nutshell, Muzan, being the progenitor of demons, is not scared of Doma. However, he is irritated by his inability to decipher Doma's thoughts and feelings, which is the ultimate control he has over all of his creations. Upper-Rank Two: Doma is a nihilistic maniac and a misanthropic cold-blooded demon.
1 Yoriichi Tsugikuni (Demon Slayer)
Yoriichi's mastery of the Sun Breathing technique, combined with his incredible speed and agility, made him a formidable opponent for Muzan.
Muzan Kibutsuji's main weakness is sunlight, as seen when Gyōmei destroyed his head and he still couldn't manage to regenerate it. He tried to overcome this by devouring Nezuko, but that failed. He also has a weakness to Nichirin Blades, as they are the only way to kill him.
We first see Doma when he is still the Upper Moon Six while he is in the middle of eating a geisha. Later he becomes even stronger and rises to the position of Upper Moon Two. He dies because of the lethal amount of poison he absorbed through Shinobu Kocho's body followed by Kanao Tsuyuri beheading him.
Kokushibo was the final Upper-Rank to die during Demon Slayer's "Infinity Castle" arc. Muichiro, Genya, Sanemi Shinazugawa and Gyomei Himejima fought together against Kokushibo, though Muichiro and Genya were no match for him and were killed.
But there is one who is the friendliest of them all, and that is Kiyogiro Rangoku, the Flame Hashira. Among the pillars, there is not a single negative thing revolving Rangoku. Such an honest guy, and his character influences others positively. In Demon Slayer, Liu and Rangoku are not shown to have any interactions.
Shinobu Kocho is a capable Demon Slayer whose worthy of being the Insect Hashira. That being said, she's arguably the weakest Hashira when it comes to pure strength. However, brawn is not the only way to determine power in Demon Slayer.
Curse of Kibutsuji
This curse besotted any who partake of Muzan's blood must be careful. The curse prevents Muzan's name from being spoken aloud, and any who do will meet a horrible demise. One demon, Susamaru, faced this reality when battling Tamayo.
After he neutralizes Tamayo's poison and emerges from his flesh cocoon, Muzan's hair grows in length and turns white due to Shinobu's poison accelerating his age. He also grows numerous mouths all over his limbs, each one lined with a set of incredibly sharp fangs.
Before Muzan can land a critical blow on Mitsuri, Tanjiro throws a broken Nichirin Sword which stabs Muzan in his head, causing him to miss. He grows furious with Tanjiro as the Castle breaks into the surface.
As the battle reached its climax, Tanjiro was able to knock the doll's head off and discovered that the mechanical body contained a mysterious sword. Fans of the manga will recognize this sword as the one carried by Yoriichi Tsugikuni himself.
How powerful is Tanjiro 13th form? However, the thirteenth form is the one that would land the final blow on Muzan. This form is a repetition of every Sun Breathing form performed in succession that would kill Muzan by hurting all of his vital organs.
What is the Yoriichi Type Zero mechanical doll and who built it? During episode three we learned that the Yoriichi Type Zero was built by Kontetsu's ancestors more than 300 years ago, during the Sengoku era.
