Renesmee Cullen: Jacob's mate. She is the newest and youngest member of the coven and the daughter of Edward and Bella.
Biologically (the age they were when they were turned): Esme Cullen (26) Carlisle Cullen (23) Emmett Cullen (20)
Little is known about the man born Jasper Whitlock (Jackson Rathbone) in his early years until he opens up later in the Twilight books and movies. By age 17, he had talked his way into the Confederate Army, and he soon became the youngest major they had.
Esme Is The Oldest Family Member
In fact, the oldest Cullen in terms of aging is Esme, who was turned at the ripe old age of 26. While Esme is not the oldest family member in "vampire years," she's certainly the oldest, physically speaking. She aged for longer than even her husband, who was turned at age 23.
Jasper Hale (born Jasper Whitlock) is the adopted son of Carlisle and Esme Cullen, adoptive brother of Rosalie, Edward, and Emmett, and husband of Alice Cullen. He and Rosalie are not related, but they can pass for biological siblings and share the surname "Hale." He has honey-blond hair, and he is lean.
In addition to the traits he shares with his fellow vampires, Edward has certain abilities that are his alone. He possesses superior superhuman speed compared to that of other vampires and is the fastest of the Cullens, able to outrun any of them.
In order to save her life, Carlisle decided to change her into a vampire. When Esme first awakened from her transformation, Carlisle explained what happened and that he turned her into a vampire in order to save her life. Much to his surprise, Esme was not upset with his act, and she easily accepted her new life.
Bella Swan (Eclipse):
Kristen Stewart had to wear a wig after chopping off all her hair for The Runaways, and THIS was the best they could do... FOR THE LEAD???
History. Carlisle and Esme first met in 1911, when Esme broke her leg falling off a tree. The encounter impacted each other greatly and they never forgot about each other after Carlisle moved on. Carlisle changes Esme into a vampire.
Jessica explains that they are Edward, Emmett, and Alice Cullen, the adopted children of Dr. and Mrs.
Twilight's Villain James
Knowing that he couldn't take down a hunter as powerful as James on his own, Alice's mentor turned Alice into a vampire and left her to recover as he sacrificed himself to give her time to escape James' clutches.
Edi Mue Gathegi (born March 10, 1979 in Nairobi, Kenya) appears in Twilight and New Moon as Laurent. He is now a film, stage and television actor, and is best known for his appearances as recurring character Dr. Jeffrey Cole in the television series House and as "Cheese" in the 2007 film Gone Baby Gone.
Unfortunately, one feature that isn't quite as lovable is the presence of extreme age differences in romantic relationships. The main character, Bella, is only seventeen when she is approached by Edward, a vampire who is nearly a hundred years older than her.
Carlisle's gift is an elevated sense of compassion that allows him to resist human blood. He is able to bite (in order to turn them) people without succumbing to the frenzy and killing them.
Unlike the rest of her vampire family, she is also able to sleep. However, as a half immortal, she will continue to grow until her full maturity at the age of about seven, at which point she will appear to be about seventeen (like her father Edward) and will cease to age (as shown by Nahuel in Breaking Dawn).
¦ Kristen Stewart wore a wig in this film because she had cut her hair short to star in "The Runaways" (2010). ¦ Carlisle changed Rosalie into a vampire because he pitied her and hoped she would become Edward's mate.
To play Jacob, Taylor Lautner wore a long wig over his short, spiky hair. "It was very itchy, hot and annoying," he said at a press conference. "The last day of filming with the wig, we ripped it off, put it up in the air, and the whole crew gave a standing ovation."
Brunette Nikki Reed dyed her hair in the original "Twilight" but wore a wig in the rest of the films. Peter Facinelli also dyed his hair blond and wore a wig during the series (he was filming Showtime's "Nurse Jackie" while shooting the last three "Twilight" films).
She Lost A Child When She Was Human
Well, when she was still human, Esme was pregnant. But soon after she gave birth, tragedy struck, and she lost her child. Heartbroken, and finding no reason to remain alive, she threw herself off of a cliff, and that's when Carlisle found her.
Carlisle Cullen is Rosalie's adoptive father as well as creator. He turned her into a vampire in 1933 to save her from fatal injuries inflicted by her drunken fiancé and his friends, who left her in the street to die. Rosalie resents being a vampire, as she treasures humanity and often wishes she was still human.
Given that he (in the books, at least) was physically similar to Rosalie, it was decided that they could pass as twins, and so Jasper changed his surname to Hale instead of Cullen, which helped the coven pass as a family of adopted children.
Pattinson, best known for his role of Edward Cullen in the 2008 vampire franchise, has been dubbed the “most handsome man,” according to science and The Daily Mail. The findings are determined by The Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, a mathematical formula established by the ancient Greeks that assesses facial symmetry.
Emmett is described as being very tall, very burly, and to the students at Forks high school and some vampires, very intimidating. Jessica Stanley refers to him as "the big dark-haired guy" in the first Twilight movie. Standing at 6'5", he is the tallest of the Cullens, towering over Alice by nearly two feet.
He has many scars on his body, face, neck and jaw from the bites of vampires he fought during his time in Maria's coven.
