Superman will forever be known as one of the most powerful and skilled heroes in comics but Cosmic Ghost Rider would take him down. It wouldn't be an easy victory by any means but the Power Cosmic gives Cosmic Ghost Rider a power that will allow him to defeat Superman- the ability to manipulate energy.
Any version of Superman is going to get destroyed by Ghost Rider. The Arch Angel Zadkiel who took over Heaven and became a reality warper couldn't even stop the power of the Ghost Riders. Who would win in a fight, Superman or Ghost Rider? Ghost Rider certainly wins, though it won't be easy.
4 WIN: Shazam
Until he utters the word “Shazam”, he is in human form. Shazam is also vulnerable when it comes to magical attacks. Imaginably, Ghost Rider's mystical abilities, the Eldritch Powers, would render all of Shazam's impressive powers useless.
Thanos is more powerful than Ghost Rider and would easily win in a battle. Thanos is stronger, faster, and more durable than Ghost Rider and has more varied powers and abilities, and with them, he can easily counter everything Ghost Rider can throw at him.
The Hulk is considered the strongest character in the Marvel universe, but there are some characters that can match the Hulk's strength and power, such as Ghost Rider. The Ghost Rider, however, is not the strongest of the two, and he is able to defeat the Hulk in Banner form.
All of these skills are on full display when Ghost Rider beat up an entire team of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers #214. The true highlight of the brawl came during his showdown with the God of Thunder, when not only is he able to dodge Thor's hammer, but he hops on his bike and outraces it to boot.
In short, he could likely just banish the Ghost Rider to another dimension if things get dicey, or he could exorcise the demon Zarathos from the Ghost Rider. Despite the Ghost Rider's power and Johnny's dedication, Doctor Strange would win the day.
Despite his long-standing role as one of the baddest guys in the DC universe, the Joker has no superhuman powers. Due to this, Ghost Rider could easily defeat him. Not only is Ghost Rider physically superior but using his Penance Stare against Joker would render his already questionable mental state completely crushed.
Ghost Rider wins in a fight against Thor. Even though Thor is physically stronger than Ghost Rider, Thor has nothing in terms of magic to throw at him due to Ghost Rider's immunity to most types of damage and his ability to reassemble himself even after the most severe damage.
In any event, the main thing is that no, being a demon without a soul does not mean that you can lift Thor's hammer and Ghost Rider cannot lift Thor's hammer (but hey, Ghost Rider has plenty of his own cool weapons, so he should be fine with that).
Wonder Woman has faced down lots of powerful opponents in her day but on her own, she's never faced anyone like Cosmic Ghost Rider. While her skills have helped her triumph over foes much more powerful than her, Cosmic Ghost Rider is just way too much for her.
1 Cosmic Ghost Rider
Shortly thereafter, Castle became the herald of Galactus and was imbued with the power cosmic. This made him the most powerful Ghost Rider of all time. In fact, he was so powerful that he had to hold back so he didn't destroy the planets he walked on.
Angel's are typically more powerful than demons. So he would be more powerful than most demons but you see Odin is a God which puts him far above Angel's and demons. Not to mention he is one of if not the strongest arguably gods in comics. So Odin should easily beat Ghost Rider anytime.
As long as the Spirit of Vengeance uses the host, his aging will significantly slow down, and he will be unable to die of old age. As far as invulnerability goes, Ghost Rider is immune to most physical damage as long as he is transformed. As soon as he reverts to his human form, he can be killed through regular means.
Most people claim all Flash have to do is Speed steal or trap him into the speed force. GR can travel from dimension. SBP breaks out of the speed force. Ghost Rider can defeat Flash in many ways.
Even water would not stop the Hellfire demon that is Ghost Rider. So, just by that standard, the Ghost Rider is practically invincible. I won't disagree to Aquaman being a powerful hero, but he is nowhere near the power that the Rider possesses, or worse, what Zarathos is capable of.
8 Captain America Couldn't Stand Against Ghost Rider
This fight was prompted by the Spirit of Vengeance overtaking Johnny Blaze and sending him on a rampage. Cap and fellow Avenger Tigra were caught in this path of destruction and were only able to dodge and avoid the Ghost Rider without ever taking him on directly.
Deadpool is incredibly hard to kill and resourceful. In the comic Deadpool defeated Ghost Rider because of an unexpected reaction to Ghost Rider's penance state. But Logic dictates that Ghost Rider would beat Deadpool severely. His hellfire could very well burn Deadpool to a crisp.
No, even giving Spider-Man the benefit of the doubt and pretending he's immune to the Penance Stare (he isn't) Ghost Rider can only be killed by Holy weapons (not blessed by a priest Holy, For realsies forged in biblical Heaven Holy weapons). Assuming Spider-Man went full defense he has a solid chance of escaping.
Ghost Rider has more versatile abilities, and even though Hulk is extremely difficult to injure or kill, Ghost Rider's penance stare might slow him and revert him into Bruce Banner form. Hulk, on the other hand, can counter Ghost Rider only when it comes to raw strength but has nothing in his arsenal to neutralize him.
As a final act of spite before fleeing, Mephisto cursed Johnny by bonding him with the demon Zarathos, transforming Johnny into the blazing spirit of vengeance, Ghost Rider.
9 CAN'T ENTER A HOLY PLACE
If Ghost Rider enters a church or another blessed holy place, he immediately reverts back into John Blaze. John Blaze in the Ultimate Universe sold his soul to the devil to protect his girlfriend after a biker gang took his life and then he returned as Ghost Rider to get revenge.
