With that said, all Hashira in Demon Slayer have one glaring flaw: they're only human. As such, they're not infallible and are certainly not tougher than their demon enemies. This results in some rather lopsided matches and emotionally-charged oversights on their part.
8/13 Shinobu Kocho, The Insect Hashira
That being said, she's arguably the weakest Hashira when it comes to pure strength.
Demon Slayer's Tengen Uzui is considered to be one of the weakest Hashira due to almost losing this fight, but the fact is that Tengen only looks weak when compared to the most overpowered Hashira.
Many people believe she's the weakest because of her being physically weak and her loss against Doma.
2) Sanemi Shinazugawa
He dedicated all his time and effort towards perfecting his skills as a swordsman which was shown during the fight against both Muzan and Kokushibo.
Sound Hashira
He is the fastest Hashira, and the second physically strongest. Obviously, then, Tengen Uzui is rather proud. He is demanding, fussy, boastful, and prone to selfishness. But he is also ultimately kind and caring, with great love for his three wives as well as the other Hashira.
He is the former Sound Pillar and retired due to injury after fighting Upper Moon Six, Daki and Gyutaro.
5/14 Fastest Hashira In Running
Despite his large and muscular build, Tengen Uzui is the fastest runner among the Hashira.
Mitsuri. The love Hashira and upcoming featured character of season 3, Mitsuri is best known for her extreme affection for everyone in the Demon Slayer Corps.
1) Shinobu Kocho
The Insect Pillar of Demon Slayer Corps, Shinobu is undeniably the smartest individual. She might not be physically stronger than others, but her intelligence is what kept her going.
Sanemi is quite possibly one of the rudest Hashira to have ever existed. Although he's a powerful individual, as seen in the manga during his fight against Doma, one of Muzan's 12 Kizuki, he severely lacks people skills. Sanemi's rise to unpopularity stemmed from his treatment of Nezuko the first time he saw her.
Unfortunately, not all of these elite warriors make it out of the series alive, and none of them make it to the end in one piece. The manga for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba concluded some time ago, so the ultimate fate of each Hashira has already been established even as the anime soldiers on.
Kyojuro Rengoku surpasses Tengen on many levels, be it strength, Breathing Technique, or battle Intellect. So to cut a long story short, Kyojuro Rengoku is more powerful than Tengen Uzui.
As it turns out, Tanjiro has received a few promotions during his service. However, saying that Tanjiro has become a Kanoe doesn't mean much on its own. The Corps' ranks and functions are fairly straightforward.
Tanjiro decapitates Akaza with the Hinokami Kagura: Setting Sun Transformation. Akaza was bewildered, wondering how Tanjiro did not have any fighting spirit, comparing this feeling to fighting against a plant. He acknowledges that Tanjiro surpassed his speed.
Specifically, Muichiro was the Mist Hashira who made use of the Mist Breathing sword style. He was also the youngest of the Hashira at only 14 years old, being considered a prodigy of the Corps who became a Hashira only two months after joining the Demon Slayers.
2) Sanemi Shinazugawa
His fast movement, combined with his excellent swordsmanship, makes him a remarkable demon slayer. Most of his attacks are purely offensive due to his breathing style. Being a user of wind breathing, he is undoubtedly fast.
Rengoku's fight in the Mugen Train arc showed his incredible speed and reflexes. He was able to match Akaza's speed, and his movements were so fast that it was almost impossible for the naked eye to keep up. Tengen, meanwhile, is the fastest runner out of all the Hashira.
According to Tengen Uzui, Gyomei was one of the two people who became a Hashira only two months after picking up a sword, the other being Muichiro Tokito.
Giyu Tomioka and Sanemi Shinazugawa attend as the final surviving members of the Hashira, and together they they get a confirmation that not only are the demons all eradicated, but that the Demon Slayer Corps will be disbanding.
Akaza is just that much stronger than Rengoku. Even when marked, Rengoku isn't very strong compared to him. Also, Akaza can seemingly survive his head being cut off. The only reason he died was because he let himself die.
