But the only way to rip their heart out is they would have to be extremely weakened by a powerful enough witch. So no, you can't just go up to an Original and chop their head off or rip their heart out. But if a powerful enough witch weakens them, then you can and that would be the end of it.
Unlike non-Original vampires, Original vampires are indestructible and cannot be killed by anything on earth aside from the White Oak Stake, a large enough source of magic, the conditions suitable to reverse the original spell, or by the advanced venom of the Upgraded Original vampire.
Stefan suggests it's the bloodline. Finn turned Sage, Sage turned Troy and they're all dead. They realize if you kill an Original, their entire bloodline dies, too.
But what happens if you cut off their head? They are indestructible. Since only the white oak and Marcel's bite are supposed to be able to kill them, their body is made physically impossible to destroy through ordinary means.
On the same night the others tried to disable the Originals, daggering all of Rebekah's siblings. However, due to Klaus' dormant werewolf side and the fact that the daggers were made of silver, the dagger didn't work on Klaus.
The only exception is Klaus that can't be affected by the dagger and Mikael who is daggered for less than a year, but he is entombed by Abby and daggered by Elena, making him neutralized longer than Elijah. The reason why Klaus never died from neutralizing his siblings is because of his werewolf lineage.
A commons question I'm asked is, how many generations does DNA go back. If you're using an autosomal test such as AncestryDNA, 23andMe, or MyHeritage, you'll generally go back 6 to 8 generations. Assuming 25 years per generation, you can expect 150-200 years of DNA information by taking an autosomal DNA test.
Julie Plec confirmed that Klaus is the origin of the bloodline Stefan, Damon, Caroline and Elena are from. It is possible to unlink a vampire from their bloodline using magic. This was successfully performed on Klaus by Davina. For reasons unknown, Klaus never sired new vampires after his sireline was severed.
But in Legacies they talk about Caroline and they didn't say she dead so how can she is still live? In the Originals, Davina broke Klaus' Sireline, meaning that at his death, none of his sires (Vampires from his line), would die.
The Originals focuses on the first family of virtually indestructible vampires, but Marcel Gerard is the strongest vampire on the series. A spin-off of The Vampire Diaries, The Originals features the first family of vampires, the Mikaelsons.
With all of this in mind, it is important to note that Rebekah is the weakest Original Vampire, I wouldn't necessarily say because she's female, but for the sake of this argument, it's worth noting this, but at the end of the day she might have simply been the weakest child of Esther (strength-wise), and not because .. ...
So, when an Original dies, every vampire that has been turned by him/her and/or any vampire that has been turned by another vampire who was turned by an Original dies. This means, if all the Originals die, the entire vampire species will become extinct.
A vampire's death by a werewolf bite is very slow and painful, which is why many who are bitten are ultimately "mercy-killed" before they reach that point. Werewolf bites cannot kill an Original Vampire, as Elijah Mikaelson mentioned to Elena Gilbert when they were talking about how to kill Klaus Mikaelson.
An Original Vampire is indestructible which means that they cannot get their heads, hearts or body parts removed from their bodies. Unless you severely weaken an Original which would weaken the magic and immortality of the she/he Original Vampire protecting them.
Ansel and Niklaus Mikaelson's Family is an unknown ancient bloodline of very powerful werewolves that goes back at least a thousand years. They are all members of the North East Atlantic Pack, that is native to America and is said to have existed since the genesis of the werewolf species.
Hope is a member of the Mikaelson Family, the Labonair Family, the Kenner Family, and an unnamed family of werewolves. Hope is by birthright a member of the Crescent Wolf Pack and the North East Atlantic Pack, as well as an unnamed witch family, and the only child fathered by the Original Hybrid.
Elena is the the third and also the final descendant and doppelgänger of Amara, the originator of the Petrova doppelgänger bloodline. Elena's death and transition into a vampire ended the Petrova doppelgänger bloodline, as she has no descendants because she is unable to reproduce and have children.
The longest family tree in the world is that of the Chinese philosopher and educator Confucius (551–479 BC), who is descended from King Tang (1675–1646 BC). The tree spans more than 80 generations from him and includes more than 2 million members.
Crawford's DNA suggests that his Blackfeet ancestors came from the Pacific, traveled to the coast of South America and moved north. His haplogroup is part of MtDNA B2, which originated in Arizona about 17,000 years ago. That group is one of four major Native American groups that spread across the continent.
While the Confucius family tree carries the title of the biggest one, the Lurie family is known as the oldest one in the world. Its history traces back to 1037 BC. According to the records, the family lineage starts from the 3rd king of the United Monarchy of Israel and Judah called King David.
Niklaus Mikaelson
The most dangerous of the family and also possibly the Big Good of the protagonist villains of the Originals. Klaus is a sadistic person who has always wanted one thing - power. He is a werewolf-vampire hybrid, making him the most powerful supernatural being in the vampire universe.
Niklaus Mikaelson is also commonly known as Klaus. He is an Original Vampire and an Original Hybrid (Vampire + Werewolf). Klaus is known as one of the most dreaded and merciless Villain of the series.
Klaus recounted how he had left Finn daggered because he was so judgmental. Rebekah stated that she was disgusted by Klaus' treatment of Finn.
