This self-loathing is what sets Aoyama apart from the villains. As Midoriya points out, Aoyama cries because he has failed his friends, not because he has failed to do AFO's bidding.
He was revealed to have been the "U.A. Traitor", reluctantly aiding the League of Villains and causing most of their encounters with U.A. High. During the Final War, Yuga has ended his association with the League of Villains, choosing to instead help the heroes defeat All For One.
So we now know reason why he was acting weird is because 1: Aoyama is the MHA Traitor and 2: he got his quirk from AFO as a kid for being born quirkless and he was told by AFO to befriend Deku so they can get close to get him — it is honestly shocking how all this was presented but didn't realize it.
Aoyama's Explanation for Watching Deku Is Actually Wholesome
It turns out that Aoyama had no clue how unnerving his action was; he simply wanted to leave a "surprise" for Deku. Aoyama identifies with Deku because, like Deku, his Quirk causes discomfort when he uses it.
Moka Gotō is a student known for having a crush on Aoyama since elementary. She is good at lock picking and wields a baseball bat designed with nails and cute stickers as her weapon to protect him.
In Chapters 106-107, Mio confessed her affections to Aoyama, but he rejected Mio as he instead has devoted himself to Moka Gotou instead, despite his germaphobia being a strain on the relationship. In the last chapter, it is shown that Mio has moved onto a new relationship, but she still has a soft spot for Aoyama.
As of the last chapter, Aoyama is engaged to Moka.
He has been revealed to be the "U.A. Traitor" in Chapter 336 of the manga. According to this, Aoyama was originally Quirkless, just like Izuku, before his parents made a deal with All For One to give him his quirk.
That strikes Deku as odd, but not odd enough to cause alarm. However, when he finds a spread of the same cheese Aoyama fed him outside on his window, arranged to spell out the words "I know," Deku has more than enough reason to actually be alarmed. Aoyama, as it turns out, had been outside his window that night.
Aoyama relies heavily on a support item to help control his quirk, and even then, suffers physical backlash in the form of stomach aches if he tries to use it too much. He himself characterizes this affliction as a result of the fact that his quirk is “not compatible” with his body.
Aoyama is idolized and respected by everyone, but they can only admire him from afar due to his mysophobia. Despite that, he plays soccer—a rather dirty sport! As the playmaker for Fujimi High School's soccer club, Aoyama avoids physical contact at all cost and cleanly dribbles toward victory.
Fans watched with wide eyes are Aoyama was outed as the traitor at U.A. High School. His parents and himself were forced by All For One to be spies, but they have been put into prison since. Chapter 340 follows Aizawa as the injured teacher goes to visit his student.
He is trying to tell something. It is either a warning for something, or acall for help. The first clue, might be the cheese, saying "I know". Wich could of course be quite a lot of things, but I tend to belive it might be a suggestion that he knows of Izukus quirk and that it is not his own.
The "U.A. Traitor" is revealed to be Yuga Aoyama. He was born Quirkless, and with his parents both coming from wealthy backgrounds, they made a deal with All For One to give him his Navel Laser Quirk in a desperate move to grant their son a happy, successful life.
Not as long as I'm a hero course teacher and you're my student." While Aizawa is clearly giving Aoyama a second chance, while flat out stating that he has "no intention of expelling him," it's clear that the future of this flashy hero is still up in the air and he has a long way to go to find redemption.
When Aoyama takes center stage in the anime, his awareness of the camera is less pronounced because it can be explained away as him watching offscreen characters or action. When he's in the backdrop of a scene or meant to be paying attention to class lessons, however, he'll still often stare straight into the camera.
Many fans had correctly guessed he was the traitor, but the reason why is actually the most surprising as his quirk was apparently gifted to him by All For One at the request of Aoyama's parents.
Toru Hagakure, also known by her hero name Invisible Girl, is a major character from the anime/manga series My Hero Academia.
2) Yuga Aoyama
Many people speculated that it was Toru Hagakure, but it was later revealed to be Yuga Aoyama. The reason he spied for All For One was that he was born Quirkless and received the Naval Laser Quirk from him.
Fans know that his name is Hisashi Midoriya and that his quirk is fire breathing. It's assumed that Hishashi's fire-breathing quirk isn't as eye-catching as Dabi's flames since Inko brushed it off at Izuku's doctor's appointment as a child. Currently, Hisashi's work has taken him abroad, leaving Inko and Izuku alone.
Most likely not. He has a pretty strong bond with his friends. If he was the traitor, he wouldn't have such a strong bond with is friends.
Katsuki Bakugo (Japanese: 爆豪 勝己, Hepburn: Bakugō Katsuki), also known by his nickname Kacchan (かっちゃん, Katchan) and his hero name Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight (大・爆・殺・神ダイナマイト, Daibaku Kisshin Dainamaito), is a superhero and one of the main protagonists of the manga series My Hero Academia, created by Kōhei ...
Aoyama Yuga was born quirk-less, like Midoriya Izuku. His parents requested AFO to give him a Quirk, which was Navel Laser. This is why Aoyama's Quirk is incompatible with his body, and this is why he could relate to Midoriya.
I've seen other pie charts detailing the popularity of ships for various MHA characters but there wasn't any chart for Aoyama, so I decided to make one for my favorite MHA myself. Out of 953 total pairings involving Aoyama, the most popular pairing is Aoyama x Iida taking up 18.2% of all pairings.
2) Shining Hero: Can't Stop Twinkling (Yuga Aoyama)
Heroes rarely use full sentences in their very name. During the Field Training arc, Yuga Aoyama broke convention with his rather unique title, "Shining Hero: Can't Stop Twinkling." He decided to name himself after his flashy tendencies.
