Ares was born millennia ago to Zeus, King of the Old Gods, as one of the latter's many godly children. At an indeterminate point, he witnessed the creation of humanity by his father Zeus. Ares despised the human race that Zeus created, so he began corrupting them with war, blood-thirst, and violence.
Ares was not well-liked by the Greek populace, as he is known for his brutality and savagery. He represented the evils of war, in contrast to his sister, Athena, who was a symbol of its more noble aspects.
To say that, Ares, the god of war, had a bad reputation is a gross understatement. His insatiable thirst for violence and bloodshed made him feared by mortal beings and despised by his fellow deities. Zeus, his father, wasn't particularly fond of him either.
Ares appears to be siding with Hera and is against his father, Zeus, showing his preference towards his mother and possible dislike of his father and his actions.
Death of Ares
Ares pleaded for his life while reminding Kratos of the day that he had saved his life, and how he had only tried to make him a great warrior. Kratos ironically recanted that Ares had "succeeded" in doing that before he impaled him through the chest and killed him.
Ares was the Greek god of war. He was perhaps the most unpopular of all the Olympian gods because of his quick temper, aggressiveness, and unquenchable thirst for conflict. Ares famously seduced Aphrodite, unsuccessfully fought with Hercules, and enraged Poseidon by killing his son Halirrhothios.
Zeus, having forbidden the Gods from waging war on each other and fearing the possibility that Ares might be the "Marked Warrior" who would overthrow Zeus, allowed Athena to receive help from Kratos. Athena told him that killing Ares would complete his penance and rid him of his past sins.
Athena is the single most prevalent foe of Ares, the two were the ultimate symbol of war, two siblings with the same station but who were so different they were always ready to fight one another.
Noticing Ares' half-brother gaining the love of their father Zeus, Ares has hated Hercules since he was a boy and has tried repeatedly to kill his younger half-brother.
Ares has hated Hercules ever since Hercules killed Ares' pets, the monstrous Stymphalian birds, and his hatred increased when he noticed Hercules being favored by their father, while he was shunned for his brutal behavior.
According to Lucian, Alectryon was said to have been 'an adolescent boy, beloved of Ares, who kept the god company at drinking parties, overindulged with him, and was his companion in lovemaking'.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Ares is the anti-villainous/anti-heroic Greek God of War and an enemy of the Marvel superhero Thor, as well as an occasional hero serving alongside the Avengers and Dark Avengers. He is also one of the three arch-enemies of his brother Hercules (alongside Hera and Pluto).
His name may mean destroyer or avenger. He is associated with the Roman god Mars, although Mars had an agrarian side and enjoyed wider worship. Homer's Ares was bloody and merciless and while god of war, was a coward who cried in pain and when wounded, runs away.
Answer and Explanation: In Greek mythology, nobody could kill Ares because he was immortal. However, in various computer games and comics, he was killed by various characters, including Wonder Woman.
Ares has an intense fear of jars, as a result of his ordeals at the hands of the Aloadae Giants.
Soon after Athena's birth, she became a challenge to Ares' place on Olympus as the god of war. The intelligent strategy which Athena gave to Greeks threatened Ares' success in warfare, and Ares' brutal manners would result in proper Greek society disowning him over time.
Hades is Ares's uncle through Zeus. Although there is little information regarding their relationship, Hades shows that he is willing to let Ares off without a punishment after he indirectly hurts Persephone when using his powers on her.
Weaknesses: Impulsive, bloodthirsty, raring for a fight regardless of the consequences. Relationships:No spouse, and his main love is war.
Ares' best friend, Eris, was known as the spirit of disagreement. When they traveled together, they caused a lot of trouble!
It is said that the boar which killed Adonis was no ordinary beast but the god Ares, who was one of Aphrodite's many lovers. Jealous of her passion for Adonis, Ares, disguised himself in the form of a boar and attacked the young man.
Ares' status: “most hated of all the gods”
Ares was the son of Zeus and Hera. There is a famous passage in the Iliad where Zeus refers to Ares as the god that he hates the most.
While he started off as well intentioned by wanting to kill Ares and imprison Deimos despite his cruel treatment, he eventually became selfish and only wanted to kill Kratos as he was "The Marked Warrior" instead of Deimos or Ares because he knew he would eventually kill him due to the son killing father cycle, rather ...
Poseidon warned Kratos that Olympus' destruction meant the world's destruction. The Ghost of Sparta did not react and told him to prepare for his own death, Kratos proceeded to brutally beat on the sea god, before finally finishing Poseidon by gouging out his uncle's eyes with his thumbs and snapping his neck.
