The group was caught and punished as a result. Following that incident, Severus Snape passed the counterfeit sword to Bellatrix Lestrange. Bellatrix then stored it in her Gringotts vault alongside Helga Hufflepuff's cup, one of Voldemort's Horcruxes.
In this book, Rowling reveals that Bellatrix is the guardian of Helga Hufflepuff's cup (though she is unaware that it is a Horcrux), which Voldemort has entrusted the Lestranges to keep in their Gringotts vault.
In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the Trio, with the help of Griphook, execute a plan to break in to the Gringotts vault of Bellatrix Lestrange's family to steal a Horcrux belonging to Voldemort.

Harry knows from his conversations with Dumbledore that if a Horcrux is in the vault, it must either be the Hufflepuff cup or else an unknown object, so they have no choice but to look for the cup.
Voldemort intentionally made six Horcruxes, but when he used Avada Kedavra on Harry, he unintentionally created a seventh Horcrux. Instead of dying, Lily's love for Harry created a counter 'curse' known as Sacrificial Protection and saved Harry.
We know that they did not use Avada Kedavra. Aveda Kedavra has one effect: it kills. Other curses can be just as lethal.
The clue he received in the film was from Bellatrix, who was in a frantic frenzy when she thought her vault was broken into. He is ultimately able to identify the cup as a Horcrux because of his ability to hear the piece of Voldemort's soul contained within them, an ability which is not present in the books.
The sword was supposed to be in her vault in Gringotts. Voldemort assigned that job to her; to keep this sword, and a few other valuable items (e.g. unknown to her, another Horcrux). So when she saw the sword in Hermione's hand, she got really scared and feared the worst. She thought her vault has been breached.
Draco's refusal to reveal Harry's identity to Bellatrix was not because he liked him. It was because he believed that Harry was the only chance they had at defeating Voldemort. At first, Draco admired and revered Voldemort until he threatened his family's safety.
According to the goblin, three students at Hogwarts—Ginny, Neville, and Luna—broke into Snape's office and stole the sword of Gryffindor, but were caught and punished.
Because Bellatrix's wand was reported as lost at the Malfoy Manor where the trio ended up taking it away to Shell Cottage, so showing it would have immediately revealed that Hermione was only Bellatrix in disguise, as the real Bellatrix didn't have her wand.
Bellatrix Lestrange
Ollivander described this wand as "unyielding" a very telling feature of the owner as well. Legend has it that there was a European superstition warning not to grow anything near a walnut tree because it contained evil or poison-also in the walnut-wood wand of Bellatrix.
Question number one: Why didn't Dumbledore just give the sword of Gryffindor to Harry instead of leaving it to him in his will? He knew even before his death that Harry would need the sword to destroy Horcruxes, and he must have known that the Ministry would not let Harry get the sword.
Bellatrix Lestrange's wand was 12¾" long, made of walnut, and had a dragon heartstring core. The wand was constructed by Garrick Ollivander, who described it as "unyielding".
He did not love anyone, and did not care to be loved. He felt nothing for his family, and only wanted his friends in school to rally around him because he wanted to hold power over them. Bellatrix Lestrange was obviously in love with him and worshiped him, but he only cared for her servitude, not her.
Voldemort, weakened by his long stint as "less than the meanest ghost' 69 insists on making one more Horcrux. And unlike with Harry, Voldemort did say the spell when he killed Bertha Jorkins to make Nagini a Horcrux.
Two days later, Hepzibah was dead and her house-elf Hokey seemed to remember poisoning her mistress's cocoa. The cup and locket had both vanished. The cup, which was made a Horcrux with Hepzibah's death, was left with Bellatrix Lestrange who kept it at Gringotts.
Cruciatus Curse ('Crucio')
Harry tried to use this spell himself. The first time was against Bellatrix after she had killed Sirius. His attempt was unsuccessful because, as Bellatrix mockingly explained: 'You need to really want to cause pain – to enjoy it – righteous anger won't hurt me for long…'
Because the killing curse can be blocked. In the books, Dumbledore blocks it... with Fawkes. Because when you intentionally kill someone, you destroy your own soul, then again Dumbledore is in King's Cross station just like fetus Voldemort, so maybe he's there because he actually did kill his sister.
Narcissa Malfoy's Very Dangerous Lie
But she was also a mother, which meant she was willing to risk everything to make sure her son was safe. When Harry survived Voldemort's Killing Curse for the second time, Narcissa pretended he was dead so she could get to Draco.
Her sacrifice gave Harry the power of love, a protection spell sealed with the blood spilled by her death.
Voldemort was scared it had gone wrong and was nervous to check. It was only when Narcissa checked that his arrogance returned. Only then he made up lies about Harry running despite all DE and Hagrid knowing that wasn't true.
