Stan Lee picked gray for the Hulk because he didn't want to invoke any associations with a particular ethnic group and because he wanted a color that would appear “scary and chilling.”
When Lee went to print the first issue, however, the printer had trouble keeping the gray of the Hulk's skin consistent on every page. This prompted the comic mogul to change the color of his skin to the classic green color we've known for nearly 60 years. “It turned out to be a great choice,” Lee later said.
Just like The Savage Hulk, The Grey Hulk has increased strength, speed, and durability. His strength also increases with his rage, but to a significantly lesser degree. He is weaker than the Savage Hulk, but largely more intelligent.
Originally, Stan Lee wanted the Hulk to be grey, but due to ink problems, the Hulk's color turned to green. This was explained by saying that the Grey Hulk was the original Hulk to appear when Banner first got hit by the Gamma Bomb.
Grey is the weakest. Red grows in strength with heat, but is more limited than Green despite having a higher base strength and more intelligence. Green is slightly weaker than Red but grows with anger and without limitations.
Professor Hulk has the attributes of three Hulks: Grey Hulk, Savage Hulk, and Banner. He is the weakest of all incantations because he will revert to Banner with Savage Hulk's mind if he gets too angry.
As it turns out, Grey Hulk never made it to the screen, but it was initially part of the story. Director Joss Whedon wanted the Green Goliath (Mark Ruffalo) to turn grey, after Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) uses her mind-controlling powers on him.
Smart Hulk Is Stronger Than Regular Hulk - With A Caveat
With Banner's mind and Hulk's brawn, the Smart Hulk is just as strong as the regular Hulk and is even stronger because he can use his brains to increase his strength when he needs to.
The Leader promised to resurrect Betty if Ross agreed to work with them. After Hulk returned to Earth and waged war on the Illuminati, that's when Ross's obsession gave way to his new nightmare. Using radiation siphoned from the Hulk, Leader and M.O.D.O.K. transformed Ross into the Red Hulk.
1 THE LEADER
The Leader is undoubtedly the Hulk's strongest villain and arch-enemy. As a janitor in Idaho, Samuel Sterns was exposed to gamma radiation and turned into a green villain that despises Hulk.
Apocalypse. Apocalypse makes his way into this position on the list because he is technically stronger than the Hulk. He also has a multitude of other abilities, including telepathy, telekinesis, and shapeshifting. And that's just touching the surface of his powers.
Weakness: The Moon
However, with the Grey Hulk, it was not pain or rage that caused him to change from Bruce Banner into the superhero. Instead, it was the moon. Just like a werewolf, Banner changed into Grey Hulk when the sun went down and he reverted back to Banner when the sun came back up the next morning.
Tyrone Cash is a fictional character in the Ultimate Marvel universe. He is a member of The Ultimates and is described as being the first Hulk before Bruce Banner became the Hulk.
Introduced in 2012's Avengers #24, the Purple Hulk is Norman Osborn, aka Spider-Man villain the Green Goblin. After the Skrull attack known as the Secret Invasion destroyed trust in existing institutions, Norman Osborn managed to replace Nick Fury's S.H.I.E.L.D. organisation with his own fascistic H.A.M.M.E.R.
PURPLE HULK
Within the issue itself, this Hulk took on a stark black-and-and-white look. But when 1996's The Incredible Hulk animated series adapted this storyline, the Dark Hulk was purple when possessed by a being known as Hybrid.
Thanos vs MCU Hulk
The Mad Titan was easily able to dispatch the Hulk without even using the only Infinity Stone he had available at the time: The Power Stone. The polished fighting style of Thanos proved too much for Hulk and his overall brutality and savagery.
After Avengers: Infinity War, some people thought Hulk feared Thanos, but the real person he fears is one he can never truly defeat.
Exposure to so many enemies along with his trip through space may have weakened the Hulk to the point that he could bond with Bruce in Endgame, thus making the Professor persona appear much weaker. However, after snapping his fingers, the gamma burst should have raised his levels.
Because Scarlet Witch sent him hallucinations, the same way she made the rest of the Avengers hallucinate.
If it hadn't been for a printing error, the Incredible Hulk would have only been gray (and perhaps not nearly so popular). Stan Lee, the man who created the Incredible Hulk, originally envisioned a gray-skinned hulk.
Hulk Speaking in the Comics
The original Grey Hulk — who debuted in May 1962 courtesy of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby — didn't speak, but by the time he'd gone green for Incredible Hulk #4, he was talking. Albeit in primitive fashion. And oftentimes referring to his alter-ego “Puny Banner.”
Hawkeye. The ace archer may come as a big surprise for many. But the fact can't be denied that the Incredible Hulk has never defeated the master archer “Hawkeye” in a face off.
Simply put Thor can best Hulk in a fight because he wields Mjolnir and is a god. Complexly said, Hulk can't defeat a divine god with a mighty hammer that lets him blast energy beams, fly, and summon a kinds of weather.
However, just because Ghost Rider doesn't have any reason to kill the Green Goliath doesn't mean he can't, as hellfire is revealed to be the one thing that can actually kill the Hulk–and the Hulk himself confirmed it.
