In the comics,
While Foster was human, she died a warrior's death and was granted entry into Valhalla. Other than Frigga, Odin, Heimdall, and Jane Foster, Valhalla likely has many more warriors. A lot of Asgardian warriors died fighting in the Thor movies, and any of them could possibly have entered Valhalla.
The good news is, unlike Odin, we see that Jane's body is reconstituted after death. In the post-credits scene, she arrives in Valhalla where she's greeted by none other than Heimdall (Idris Elba), who was killed by Thanos back in “Avengers: Infinity War.” The two share a sweet moment, and then the movie ends.
However, the film also implies that the hammer only sees Jane as worthy because Thor unintentionally revised the rules of Mjölnir, giving it the power to protect her. Captain America didn't need anything special for the hammer to see him as worthy – he's able to wield it without issue in Avengers: Endgame.
Jane decided to keep using Mjolnir as the MCU's Mighty Thor, however, because she wanted to use what little time she had left to do something that mattered, and she eventually died helping Thor stop Gorr and ascended to Valhalla.
Brunnhilde asked Jane if she wanted to become a Valkyrie, and she agreed. So, Jane was upgraded to Valkyrie status and gifted Undrjarn the All-Weapon. Since becoming a Valkyrie, Jane has had a full plate.
In a moment of wistful affection for his girlfriend, Thor asked his trusty hammer to always protect Jane, and in doing so unwittingly enchanted Mjolnir to do just that. Just like Thor's father Odin once enchanted the hammer to only be lifted by someone who is worthy, Thor cast a spell that let Jane use its powers.
Having been adopted by Thor, Gorr's daughter has seemingly become the new owner of the weapon forged to defeat Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. In Thor: Love and Thunder's ending, Love carried it into battle alongside Thor, who was once again wielding Mjolnir.
The chemotherapy is attacking the cancerous cells but Mjolnir doesn't identify the cancer as an illness just as another part of her it needs to protect. Plus chemotherapy really does weaken Jane and make her sick so it's easy to see as an illness on it's own.
A happy-go-lucky, ABBA-soundtracked montage, the scene features Thor making Mjolnir promise that it will always protect Jane, no matter what — even if it means coming back from the “dead” after being smashed to pieces by his villainous sister Hela.
Gorr's daughter is played by India Rose Hemsworth, the daughter of Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, and actress Elsa Pataky. Hemsworth has talked about how his children are in the movie, saying "...Taika had his children in there. Christian Bale had his.
It's revealed by Thor (Chris Hemsworth) that only those who die on the battlefield can go to Valhalla. As he stands over Sif, a fellow Asgardian warrior, he tells her that she must die...
In the comics, Jane hesitates at the gates of Valhalla, not wanting her life to be over yet, until Thor and Odin combine forces to revive her. With a second chance at life, Jane makes her cancer treatments a priority, and goes back and heals up while Odinson takes up Mjolnir and becomes Thor again.
Jane was told by Doctor Strange that if she became Thor one last time, she would die. He and several of her friends convinced Jane to give up being Thor for the sake of her health.
Regardless, Jane is determined to help Thor in his final battle with Gorr, and she uses the last bit of Mighty Thor's power to destroy the Necrosword before transforming back into Jane and dying in Thor's arms. Though human, her body dissolves into gold dust, similar to what happened to both Odin and Frigga.
Love is the daughter of Gorr the God Butcher, whose death by starvation triggered her father's murderous crusade against all gods for forsaking them.
One possibility is the simplest one available, which would hinge on the rules put on the hammer by Odin's enchantment, which are “Whoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.” Jane was able to take Thor's place in the comics because she became worthy enough to wield Mjolnir, so if the ...
Upon saving Asgard from Ragnarok, Odin forces her to relinquish the hammer to Donald Blake so he can become the new Thor. This resulted in Jane losing her powers, but she was allowed to remain on Asgard and keep her goddess status since she later falls in love with and marries Thor.
Odin placed several enchantments upon Mjolnir prior to Thor wielding the hammer: This is reflected in the inscription on the side of Mjolnir, which states: Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor. For almost the entirety of Marvel continuity, this has exclusively been Thor.
But when he reaches that cosmic being, he chooses to use his wish to resurrect his daughter right before he dies. Jane Foster promises Gorr with her own dying breath that Thor will take care of the child, and Thor, now heartbroken and alone, chooses to adopt the child.
As Thor's firstborn and strongest child, Magni was a very powerful Norse God, though only regarded as a minor Aesir by Mimir. As such, he is still surpassed by his grandfather Odin, father Thor, uncles Týr, Heimdall and Baldur.
Þrúðr (Old Norse: [ˈθruːðz̠], "strength"), sometimes anglicized as Thrúd or Thrud, is a daughter of the major god Thor and the goddess Sif in Norse mythology.
Like Stormbreaker, Mjolnir also allows Thor to wield thunder and lightning; however, it's not capable of summoning the Bifrost. The magic hammer did develop a power Stormbreaker couldn't, though, and it's able to detach its broken pieces to attack multiple enemies at once, before coming together again.
In Thor: Love And Thunder, Jane Foster is given a shocking introduction as it is revealed that she has Stage 4 cancer. She ends up wielding Mjolnir and becoming Mighty Thor as a way of regaining strength, but it's ultimately revealed that the weapon is accelerating her condition.
Jane does not transform into a god-like being like Thor himself. While she does get to wield his powers while in her Mighty Thor form, she is not permanently altered. Instead, she returns to her weakened human form once she lets go of the hammer.
