Weaknesses. Like his family, Regulus was easily swayed by Lord Voldemort's "pure-blood" rhetoric. He learned too late that the Lord Voldemort's beliefs were far more evil than he had ever realized and being a Death Eater involved far more unpleasantness than he was capable of.
He fought the Death Eaters of Voldemort in 1998, during the Battle of Hogwarts, in Regulus's name.
After Hogwarts
Regulus also goes on to marry his girlfriend Vivienne Price and father one daughter Renee Black. Both Vivienne and Renee are murder thus devasting him. Regulus goes on a mission against Voldermort, knowing that he might die but would still get the justice for her death.
Regulus decided that he didn't want to serve Voldemort any more, and also discovered that Voldemort had created many horcruxes. Regulus went to the cave with Kreacher in order to take Salazar Slytherin's Locket, and drank the potion. He then ordered Kreacher to take the locket and leave.
He did what he did because he believed Voldemort had gone too far and had become dangerous. Voldemort's careless disposal of the property of an old family alerted Regulus to the fact that Voldemort didn't really care about the old families, their property, or their status in the new world order.
He followed Lord Voldemort, he served as a Death Eater and a substantial portion of his family supported the 'purification' of the wizarding race and getting rid of Muggle-borns. Yet in his final hours, Regulus carried out a brave and selfless deed with nobody knowing.
Kreacher's joy at being given a Black family "heirloom" as his own caused him to drastically change his view of Harry. He even started to treat Hermione, whom he had previously disdained as a "Mudblood", a bit better. Hermione turned out to be right about Kreacher; he was nice to those who treat him well.
Overview. Regulus Black is the brother of Sirius Black. He is also a former Death Eater, although he defied Voldemort and found, and intended to destroy, Salazar Slytherin's locket (a horcrux) and died when dragged into the lake and drowned by Voldemort's inferi.
Voldemort took Kreacher to the Crystal Cave and forced him to drink the potion in the basin so that Voldemort could place Salazar Slytherin's Locket in the basin. The potion, (the same one Dumbledore drank) caused Kreacher to have nightmarish delusions, intense stomach pains and made him dehydrated.
Regulus Corneas was a Sin Archbishop of the Witch Cult, representing greed, and was the primary antagonist of Arc 5. He was killed by Natsuki Subaru, Emilia, and Reinhard van Astrea during arc 5.
Regulus is a major antagonist in the video game, Bomberman 64. Though initially a villain, Regulus eventually turns good.
Regulus Black's patronus was either a dog, fox, or lion and you can't change my mind. Fox - A fox represents trickery and slyness.
The Gathering Storm: A Marauders Fan Film - Simon Kiser as Regulus Black - IMDb.
At a young age, Regulus discovered his trait of being a Metamorphmagus and learned to control it from his Great-Aunt Cassiopeia. During school, Regulus becomes the Prince of Slytherin after Lucius Malfoy and uses his position to support the Dark Lord.
Regulus does not appear physically in any of the films but is mentioned throughout by various characters. His primary references came from his house-elf, Kreacher, who revealed that Regulus retrieved Slytherin's Locket after discovering it was a Horcrux and attempted to destroy it.
Regulus Black was the younger brother of Sirius Black. Unlike Sirius, Regulus was favored by their parents because he shared their overweening pride in their heritage and their belief in pure-blood supremacy; indeed, Regulus became one of Voldemort's Death Eaters around 1977 at the age of sixteen.
Kreacher was quite rude to Sirius – but Sirius was no angel to Kreacher either. Sirius, as I have indicated already, was not fond of the house-elf because it echoed the Black's opinions relentlessly. Sirius couldn't stand anyone harping on as his late family did, and Kreacher devoted his later life to doing it.
Sirius treated him like this because he hated his family and their house. Kreacher resented Sirius because of this treatment, and he later betrayed Sirius by telling Bellatrix about how she could exploit his close relationship with Harry, eventually resulting in Sirius' death.
Harry describes Umbridge to Sirius Black, saying that she's vile enough to be a Death Eater, despite not being one. Umbridge is also depicted to be a prejudiced person, despising half-breeds and Muggle-born witches and wizards to the point of firing Hagrid due to his half-giant birth status.
Lupin, played in the films by David Thewlis, was murdered in the battle by Death Eater Antonin Dolohov, while Tonks was killed by Bellatrix Lestrange, leaving their son, Teddy, an orphan. Lupin's death is a sore spot for many fans, who fell in love with the werewolf, nicknamed Moony.
The real Horcrux was taken to Twelve Grimmauld Place where Kreacher, following his master's orders, tried to destroy it. When it went missing, Kreacher apprehended Mundungus Fletcher, who had stolen the locket and given it to Dolores Umbridge.
He was just a house-elf for heaven's sake. Some would say Regulus simply treated Kreacher with the same level of respect as another human. The Golden Trio demonstrated how Kreacher does when he was treated with respect, with the Black House getting cleaned, actually cooking, and not slinging insults.
The potion, (the same one Dumbledore drank) caused Kreacher to have nightmarish delusions, intense stomach pains and made him dehydrated. Voldemort then left, leaving Kreacher to drink from the lake (as any water conjured evaporates) and die at the hands of the Inferi.
"The horcrux amplified the negative emotions that Ron had and similarly it makes Kreacher hate mudbloods even more and disrespect Hermoine way more than he would have if he didn't have the horcrux," kaptinkracker concludes.
The Black family elf Kreacher did not have any love for many people other than his master. However, as hateful as she is to most people, Bellatrix was always very kind to Kreacher. In fact, Kreacher even kept a picture of Madame Lestrange by his bed because of how kind she was to him.
