Kreacher was quite rude to Sirius – but Sirius was no angel to Kreacher either. Sirius, as I have indicated already, was not fond of the house elf because it echoed the Black's opinions relentlessly. Sirius couldn't stand anyone harping on as his late family did, and Kreacher devoted his later life to doing it.
Sirius Black
Unlike Regulus, Sirius was horrible to Kreacher, treating him as though he was not worth anything, but also ordering him about. Sirius' behaviour originated from his hatred of his family and the house of Black itself. However Albus Dumbledore said that he was usually kind to house elves.
Sirius Black
Sirius treated him like this because he hated his family and their house. Kreacher resented Sirius because of this treatment, and he later betrayed Sirius by telling Bellatrix about how she could exploit his close relationship with Harry, eventually resulting in Sirius' death.
For starters, Sirius stated the “shock alone would kill [Kreacher]”. Sirius strongly disliked Kreacher, but he didn't want Kreacher dead or mentally broken. And for another thing, Kreacher knew too much about the Order. He was racist, held on to the traditional Black beliefs, and hated Sirius passionately.
Therefore, when Regulus Black gave Kreacher the horcrux to hold onto, it turned Kreacher bad. The horcrux amplified the negative emotions that Ron had and similarly it makes Kreacher hate mudbloods even more and disrespect Hermoine way more than he would have if he didn't have the horcrux.

Tributes were pouring in on Twitter last night when JK Rowling revealed the fate of Kreacher the house elf. Responding to a fan's question of what happened to him after the Harry Potter books ended, Rowling replied with the sad – and actually quite blunt – news that he had passed away. “He died, aged 666” she wrote.
Regulus, we're told, always liked Kreacher and treated him with kindness. There was no fame or glory in his death, yet Regulus had his legacy.
Regulus betrayed Voldemort because Voldemort tried to kill Kreacher, someone who Regulus cared for, and Regulus wanted revenge.
He was just a house-elf for heaven's sake. Some would say Regulus simply treated Kreacher with the same level of respect as another human. The Golden Trio demonstrated how Kreacher does when he was treated with respect, with the Black House getting cleaned, actually cooking, and not slinging insults.
After the Ministry break-in they decided to avoid contacting Kreacher, just because they were not sure how he would react. Still, at Malfoy Manor, they were already in deep trouble, so no more harm would have been caused if Harry had tried to summon Kreacher to help.
Kreacher didn't clean 12 Grimmauld place because he was busy trying to obey the last order he couldn't fulfill. It was the order to destroy the locket by Regulus Black.

Sirius also disliked Regulus because of his ambition to become a Death Eater, but he was unaware that Regulus later attempted to destroy one of Voldemort's Horcruxes. Sirius regretted how young his brother died, and wished Regulus hadn't been as soft to go with what their parents told him to do.
