In "The Empire Strikes Back," Darth Vader stops
Actually, Vader kept Chewie alive to show he had control over Luke's friends. To show that every event was his own doing. Supposedly, Vader wanted the Rebellion to believe his power was waning, and that he was starting to show weakness, despite his own and the Empire's growing strength in the galaxy.
He knew that Boba Fett was the best bounty hunter, but a little trigger-happy— which was why he specifically warned Boba Fett among the others, that he wanted Han and Leia alive: “NO DISTINTEGRATIONS.”
Vader tells Boba Fett no disintegrations because Fett is the one who killed the Lars family in ANH. Granted, this wasn't technically a disintegration (note the human remains), and the theory only fully holds up in light of the prequels, but this theory, as posted here [ http://moviepilot.
Boba Fett was actually the one who let Darth Vader know that his son was alive and that the Skywalker bloodline lived on outside of himself. We learn in "The Empire Strikes Back" that Vader is Luke's father, making for one of the all-time great plot twists in any movie ever reaching far beyond the "Star Wars" galaxy.
Though it is technically not an interaction between Boba Fett and Darth Vader, we see a young Boba and Anakin Skywalker have a close encounter in “The Clone Wars” TV series.
The Bacta tank is a fictional healing device from the Star Wars universe, and it is not capable of healing all injuries. Bacta tanks are pretty magic, but they're not that magic. Simply put, Vader's wounds were far too serious for bacta to heal entirely.
In the non-canonical Star Wars Tales series, Boba Fett proves he's more than a match for Darth Vader, especially if he has a lightsaber of his own. Darth Vader is one of the Star Wars Universe's most fearsome and deadly Sith lords. Meanwhile, Boba Fett is one of the best and deadliest bounty hunters.
As Slash Film reports, whenever Luke Skywalker speaks in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, it's not Hamill's real voice that the audience is hearing. Instead, the output of a highly advanced voice synthesizer called Respeecher is responsible for Skywalker's voice.
Darth Vader's Bacta Tank addiction
Perhaps the most famous Star Wars use of the Bacta Tank comes from Darth Vader, who relied heavily on the healing technology to treat the brutal wounds he received on Mustafar. Vader used bacta to continuously heal his destroyed body and maintain organ function.
History. Bacta tanks already existed during the Clone Wars, when the Galactic Republic used them to treat its injured soldiers. A bacta tank was located in Darth Vader's castle on Mustafar, where the Dark Lord would relax and meditate outside of his life support armor with a modicum of comfort.
Boba Fett and Darth Vader had a strong friendship, mirroring that of the relationship Vader had once held with his clone captain: Rex, during the Clone Wars.
As the theory explains, Wookiee culture dictates that when Wookiees lose a loved one, they are not supposed to touch anyone until they have had time to grieve in private. This explains Chewbacca's actions.
After Attichitcuk was almost killed by battle droids, his son rose up to succeed him: A young Wookiee by the name of Chewbacca. That's right, Chewbacca and Obi-Wan have a history together, as they fought side by side in this conflict.
Chewbacca (also known as Chewie) is a Wookiee and a major protagonist in the Star Wars franchise.
Some time later, he faced the Sith Lord Darth Vader. Infil'a put up a fierce fight against Vader, almost killing him by throwing the already damaged Sith Lord off of a cliff. Despite severe damage to his suit, Vader survived the fall, and repaired himself with parts from Infil'a's droid, Arex.
In Star Wars Legends and Canon, Galen Marek (Starkiller) is the only Jedi (other than Obi-Wan Kenobi) to put a beat down on Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker.
Aside from agility and telekinesis, Yoda could absorb and redirect Force attacks, like lightning. Because of his higher understanding, he would easily overcome Darth Vader in a fight, though that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a difficult battle.
Purpose. Darth Vader's meditation chamber was a life support pod that allowed the Sith Lord to survive for extended periods without the helmet and mask of his suit. The injuries Vader sustained during his duel against Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar normally made this impossible.
Late Vaders total strength is a balance of variables. Age, his suit and his de-limbing lower his strength, but obviously his pain, anger and hate connect him to the dark side and make him more powerful.
There was another angle that could have been explored in The Book of Boba Fett. It's possible that he initially used the Bacta Pod for his skin condition, but then developed an addiction to it over time.
Boba Fett was definitely dead. We all saw it: a partially blinded Han Solo unknowingly whacked him with a stick in Return of the Jedi, his jetpack malfunctioned, and then he fell into the mouth of a massive sand monster.
They pop out from hiding when they realize who it is, feeling hopeful that someone is there to rescue them. Then, the lightsaber appears. It's not shown, but it is clearly insinuated that Anakin killed the younglings. This is confirmed later in the movie when Obi-Wan informs Padme that Anakin killed them.
