If you hear a clicking sound but the starter motor isn't moving, the solenoid could be engaging but not receiving enough battery power. If there's no sound, the starter solenoid is likely malfunctioning or you might have a dead car battery.
One possibility is the solenoid. A single “click” sound comes from the engine compartment or from under the car. This could mean that the solenoid is trying to engage but that the internal components are stuck and unable to work properly. Repeated “clicking” sounds usually indicate a dead battery.

A malfunctioning solenoid will prevent your engine from starting when you turn the key in the ignition. It's important to know how solenoids can fail so you can identify potential malfunctions and repair your vehicle or bring it to a mechanic as soon as possible.
Often there is a fuse and relay for the car starter in the fuse box but sometimes they will have external fuse on the fuse line or close to the car battery.
Solenoid coil failure can be caused by a number of factors. Applying an incorrect voltage to the coil will cause it to fail and may cause the coil to burn out. Electrical surges or spikes may also damage the coil. Burnt out coils cannot be repaired and will need to be replaced.

Solenoid valve doesn't open / close properly
Check power supply and make sure voltage and frequency are correct. Also check the connections. Check if flow direction matches with the indicators on the valve body or matches within limits as specified in the valve manual.
