The black screen wallpaper problem seems to happen most often when a wallpaper image is selected from the Photos app, or set through the Photos app action/sharing menu. A workaround to this is to set the wallpaper from within the Settings app instead of directly from the Photos app.
Usually, the reason why your background turns black is down to how you've configured your display settings. To resolve it, you could start by enabling the “show desktop background image” option.
There are several reasons why your iPhone lock screen wallpaper may have disappeared: Software updates: Sometimes, bugs that come with software updates can cause your iPhone's wallpaper to black out. Settings changes: Accidentally changing the wallpaper settings can cause the lock screen wallpaper to disappear.
Mine was changing unexpectedly because Focus Mode's Do Not Disturb mode had been set to use a specific lock screen. I was not aware that I had done this. Removing that screen from Settings>Focus>Do Not Disturb>Customized Screens cleared it right up.
Swipe up from the homescreen to open the app drawer menu. Open Settings with a familiar gear icon. Select Display. Turn off the Dark theme toggle.
You may have accidentally activated the color filters feature. Go to Settings/Accessibility/Color Filter. Verify if the Color filters. If so, turn it off.
To turn off dark mode on Android:
Open Settings. Select Display. Toggle Dark Theme to Off.
To disable dark mode via Control Center, swipe down from the top right corner of the screen. Long press on the brightness slider and tap the Dark Mode button in the bottom left corner to disable it. Another way to disable dark mode on the iPhone is via Apple's digital assistant—Siri.
Open your device's Settings app . Select Accessibility. Under "Color and motion," select Color inversion.
Locate Apps or Application Manager (depending upon which device you use). Swipe the screen to the left to get to the All tab. Scroll down until you locate the currently running home screen. Scroll down until you see the Clear Defaults button (Figure A).
Low Power Mode
This feature affects everything from email fetching to visual effects, like the Auto-Lock feature and screen brightness. Hence, this can be another reason why your iPhone is dimming randomly. To turn this feature off, go to Settings > Battery and toggle Low Power Mode.
Enable developer mode and then go to System, click Advanced, click Developer Options, set Night Mode to "Always Off." Now you can enable or disable Dark Mode within each app and the Display options.
Based on the description, it sounds like you may have either Classic Invert or Smart Invert enabled. These can be found in Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size. If either are enabled, try disabling them to see if that helps out. We hope that helps out.

Turn on Color Inversion
Next, go for 'Text and Display' or 'Color Inversion' depending on the Android version then toggle 'Use Color Inversion' on. Users can also activate a color inversion shortcut should they wish to only use it in certain scenarios.
