The black blade represents the Sun and is surrounded by prejudice and misconceptions, as historically every demon slayer who held it lived a short life. This could mean that Tanjirou is destined to break the pattern and set a new legend for black Nichirin blades in the Demon Slayer universe.
The unusual color is still an indication of Tanjiro's talent though because Nichirin blades do not change color for a wielder who is unskilled with a sword. Tanjiro pushed himself beyond his body's limits for two years while training to become a Demon Slayer, as he is not naturally gifted.
Tanjiro's sword is most notable for its black color. Said to be a bad omen, this sword has a deeper meaning dating back to the first demon slayer. In the smash-hit shonen series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, demons are supernatural and virtually immortal beings.
Though, Tanjiro did change its hilt to the one borrowed from the late Flame Hashira's Nichirin sword, which was orange and red in color and shaped like a flame.

why tanjiro's head is so hard? Well, it's thanks to his genetics, as his mother, Ki Kamado, passed down the trait of a rock hard head to him. In fact, Nezuko heard a story about their mother. scaring away a boar by headbutting it, which shows that Ki was also very tough and fearless.

Tanjiro isn't affected by the sun or the red blades which Yoriichi has. Since he has all of Muzan's powers, he would gain his extra hearts and brains as well as all of his techniques with the Slayer Mark, transparent world, and sun breathing, out-classing Yoriichi.
During episode three, we learned that the Yoriichi Type Zero was built by Kontetsu's ancestors more than 300 years ago during the Sengoku era.

The curse prevents Muzan's name from being spoken aloud, and any who do will meet a horrible demise. One demon, Susamaru, faced this reality when battling Tamayo. Susamaru accidentally shot Muzan's name aloud, attempting to defend his honor with her mind clouded.
The warrior Muzan feared was a swordsman named Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Yoriichi was the only slayer before Tanjiro who came close to killing Muzan, and the flashback of their fight occurred in Chapter 187.
Despite not being a key character in Demon Slayer, Tanjuro had an important part in Tanjiro's life. Tanjuro was proven to be a remarkably powerful person, despite not being a demon slayer and having a sad sickness that renders his body terribly feeble.
Gyomei Himejima

Yoriichi Tsugikini. Yoriichi Tsugikuni is the strongest demon slayer character to have ever existed in the series. He is also the only person that Muzan was ever afraid of.
