It's not a widespread practice, but some hotel operators have taken to avoiding
Apparently many hotels refuse to have a room number 420 - and they've come up with inventive ways to get around the issue. Why? Well, the room 420 can encourage guests to partake in some naughty behaviour (more on that below) so hotel bosses would rather try to eliminate the problem than clean up after it.
Loads of hotels - particularly in America, but everywhere, really - tend to avoid having rooms with the room number 420. Yep. They'll have 419 and 421. But rarely 420.
The number itself, in any form, is an attraction for pot smokers. Indeed one hotel at least has taken to indicating its room 420 with a sign that reads 419+1 in a bid to avoid links with marijuana.
If you do see her there, please say hello. Ever wonder why you've never stayed in a hotel room on the 13th floor? The answer is simple: The floor doesn't exist. It all comes down to triskaidekaphobia, or the fear of the number 13.
But it doesn't stop there – the number 13 itself is considered unlucky which is why it is rare to spot a restaurant that has a table #13, a hospital with a room or bed bearing the number 13, a hotel with a 13th floor or a room number 13. How does this superstition affect hotels? Here's the thing.
Many buildings skip the 13th floor altogether, numbering it as the 14th floor instead. This is true not only for hotels but for office buildings and residential buildings as well. Hotels, in particular, have been impacted by the superstition surrounding the 13th floor.

420 Sexually
420 doesn't mean anything sexual, while 69 refers to a sex position. If you see 69 420, it is an unfunny joke spammed too much somewhere.
In the United States, it is not legal to record hotel guests in their private spaces without their consent.
The answer is yes! Regardless of the type and model of the smoke detectors, they will detect the smoke and trigger the alarm. Therefore, if you are in a hotel or another establishment that provides accommodation, we suggest you skip vaping there.
Most hotels have a standard check-in time, which is typically in the afternoon. This allows the hotel staff enough time to prepare the rooms after previous guests have checked out. The exact check-in time can vary from hotel to hotel, but it is usually around 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM.
Spray air freshener after smoking
Once you have finished smoking, immediately spray air freshener around the room. This will help to mask the smell of smoke and make the room smell fresh and clean. Make sure to spray the air freshener in all areas of the room, including the curtains, carpets, and upholstery.
Hotels strive to provide a peaceful and enjoyable experience for all their guests. If a guest's behavior becomes disruptive and interferes with the comfort of other guests, the hotel has the authority to ban them. This may include excessive noise, unruly behavior, or harassment of other guests.
Experts say a lot of things can get you stuck in a bad hotel room. They can include common-sense factors, such as the amount you pay, the channel through which you book your room, and your elite status. But they can also include some uncommon variables, like the time of your check-in and how you treat the staff.

According to Otis Elevator Company, around 85% of elevator panels omit the number 13. What's more, entire hotels are built without a 13th floor. How did 13 end up with such negative connotations? And how do hotels and buildings get away with skipping an entire floor?
Nowadays, most people don't even realize that there is no 13th floor in most hotels! Many airlines and other businesses also avoid using it, out of fear of bad luck. Many skyscrapers don't have a 13th floor, and elevators often skip from the 12th to the 14th.
These are not left there haphazardly, but rather they are distributed by an organization, The Gideons International, as a means of evangelism. The Gideons hope to spread the good news of their faith to weary travelers by distributing Bibles in hotel rooms.
